I'm rooting for you in the Blowout Pick'em League, I hope you bank that $40 grand prize

I'll say 27-20 Bucs. I think it will be close.

I think it’s more than $40 but again I’m not a smart man. I do think you and the mods math is a bit off. I’ll be happy just to win one week. I assume I’ll be gone in the survivor one this week or early.

It’s a good game to start the season and should be a good one. So much talent

Bunting’s arm looked completely twisted on that play. No good.

Too bad you can’t say the same for the Tampa D.

Over/under on how many times Gio Benard is described as "playing the James White role". At least 2-3 times a game I think.

Close game but we'll take it.

The Bucs better work on cleaning up those penalties real quick.

They kept the Cowboys in the game with the 4 turnovers. The Godwin fumble on the 2 I just knew they were gonna lose and Brady saves the day again!

Entertaining game. Too many turnovers, sloppy plays. Defense looked soft, hopefully SMB is okay. Offense looked explosive at times. If AB is anywhere near his old self, and Gronk is ready to ball, this offense will score 30 every game.

Positives on the defensive side we’re Vita was insane. Tryon looked good in his limited reps too

Not a great game but a wins a win. On to Atlanta

Yeah the turnovers and penalties need to improve. Fortunately, both those things are fixable. I noticed Bruce basically benched RoJo after his fumble in the 2nd Quarter. He didn't get back on the field after that. Bruce said nah, you can sit on the bench the remainder of the game.

Tevita Tuliʻakiʻono Tuipulotu Mosese Vaʻhae Fehoko Faletau Vea had one heck of a game. He tossed around Tyler Biadasz like a rag doll:

Big man tossing people around like rag dolls out there!

Also, with all of the injuries and troubles with coverage tonight, thank god for Carlton Davis.

Vea and Suh are monsters inside. Only 47 yards rushing by the RB's.....

The defense will improve as the season goes on. Any word on SMB?

It better. Can't have too many close games like that and expect to win them. Bucs were lucky last night. The game could have gone either way.

According to Greg Auman from The Athletic, Bruce Arians says Sean Murphy-Bunting has a dislocated elbow but "that he's going to be all right"

whatever that means

The WR talent on both sides of the ball was ridiculous. Brady and Dak have the most stacked WR talent in the league and it isn't close. Evans, Godwin, AB, Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb. Most teams in the league would love to have just one of those guys as there #1.

Dislocated elbow is better than a broken arm

My thoughts about last night:

Rust: The defense looked, quite frankly OLD last night. They blitzed A LOT and really didn't put much pressure on Dak. I think there was only one sack last night. The INT was lucky (drop by Lamb) Vea was a monster as always.

Turnovers: just ugly. Can't blame Brady for the picks, but those fumbles were costly.
Note to Bruce Arians/Tom Brady: PLEASE stop throwing fournette the ball. (he did make a nice catch later in the game)

Note of thanks: to Tom Brady. This is the kind of game Tampa used to lose. Not anymore.

edit: maybe Dallas is better than we give them credit for, but that's a game that should have been a done deal by mid third quarter.
