Here's my CAP with 2 loadouts shown.

1st is SP and 2nd is RP. Have been boosting and doing K challenges on vs CPU on rookie.

Using Andrew Miller's delivery which brings quick pitching a new meaning. I don't even move the ball indicator. I just manipulate the location with the analog interface and dot dot dot with FB and change. The slurve is hard to locate fwiw but still gets a lot of swing and miss

The overall CAP ratings seem to be glitched in DD. The SP shows 93 overall in the buildout interface and the RP shows 76 (just started boosting that one)

Both buildouts throw 102, but the SP does it consistently. And then drops a 70 mph change right off the table (despite the ratings showing low break). Or a 90 mph slurve

Sh!t is straight stupid I must say but fun as hell. Can only imagine how stupid it would be if I could get a full pitch repertoire instead of just 3

Also hilarious is that he's a pretty darn good hitter. Switch hitter with Freddie's swing lol. Basically no power even on rookie difficulty but batting over .500 with a gap radar

I'm still holding out hope that his 99 will be amazing and good enough for me to use for the duration of the game cycle after it's released. I did like the 85's swing at least. The 85 was just basically outdated in day 2 for me.

I just checked my stats to see how I did with him and ouch. .231 on a tiny sample of 26 online ABs. That may be the lowest on my team for guys who I've rolled with online. I did get him to the orange parallel via 62 more offline ABs. Hit .387 and even 2 bombs there haha

Haven't taken him online yet, but Miggy has been incredible in vs cpu booster games, even considering the rookie difficulty. Hit 5 tanks in 2 separate games lol

Finished my exchanges already, 74 Orlando Hernandez you can get a ton of very quickly to knock out the +30 for the division. 3000 stubs gets you +30 TA

Lost track but guessing it was around 10 hours from starting fresh to getting my first SP rated into the mid 90s (only shows rating in RTTS). FWIW, the mode is quite different this year. All about archetypes, loadouts and perks and grinding programs to unlock higher and higher levels for any archetypes/perks you do.

I'm guessing doing a hitter would take longer than a SP because you going in and out of so many games + all the other stuff they have you doing with training and whatnot

With SPs, I believe you still have to enter the scheduled starts to get the stat credits to progress the things that need it, but once you are in the game you can "Simulate and Exit" and then press B (on xbox anyway) to fast sim without actually pitching.

Now I have my 2nd archetype (RP) up to 93 ovr. Thinking I will be high 90s when I finally finish the grind to get all the stuff for the final loadout

Even at 93, the RP is way overpowered for being able to use in DD. Thinking SDS will nerf that a bit and probably also nerf how easy it is to get stubs and XP from simming

I'm near 600k in first inning XP now with over half of that coming from RTTS

Pulled a 90 Cody Bellinger from a free pack. I never hit well with him, so selling him for 98k and going to use those stubs on three Diamonds to build up the roster some. For sure grabbing 93 Kenny Lofton. Then probably a diamond SP and another position player

I'm surprised by how many good/great cards already on the market for low 5-figure stubs. Your mileage may vary, but the new JD Martinez is 2/3 for me in event games with both of his hits being HRs. Probably going to be a bench bat for me for a long time

So far I've pulled Trevor Story, Machado, and JV. Nothing high end but have never been good with the first two, so sold them immediately. Story was the only one I pulled from a real $ spent pack

RP with 99 stamina, 125 h/9, 100 k/9, 99 velo, 101 mph fb, 69 mph change, 90 mph slurve that looks exactly like a change before it break into the next zip code.

I did read a post a while ago that they will be buffing this shiz soon lol

I ranked up an SP archetype first ("painter" (bronze) which progresses to one called something else when you upgrade to silver (can't recall the name offhand)) then I did the RP progression in the same way. I think it took 2-3 seasons to get the SP to the mid 90s then another couple to get the RP archetype and upgrades to add up to that.

To get the full effect/ratings, you've got to get to diamond level archetypes, diamond perks and also equip top level diamond gear where it counts ("Pro Limited" fielding glove is what I'm using in that spot fwiw)

Hope that all makes sense. It's pretty complicated I guess haha

I played a RS game vs an Xbox noob who was 11-43....I beat him 1-0 and my only run was scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th haha. I couldn't focus on squaring anything up to save my life. Luckily he couldn't either. Struck out 14 with Pedro.

8-1 now on the year and I'm at 451 rank. Just finished a few moments and unlocked 88 Berrios
