The 10 for $550 is ridiculously cheap! If I hadn't spent so much already I'd grab them to hold.

I had 1 pack where I pulled Pete Alonso AND Vlad Guerrero Jr right next to eachother. I'm not sure if these guys pulled the big 4 and then opted to sell the "dud" packs, but there are no duds.

Some sellers trying to get a quick cash grab and not hold long term. No way should prices be going down on these with the packs being sealed and the motion cards being all rookies.

It’s hard to fault people for quickly and easily doubling and tripling their money. I’d be fine if they keep the pack prices down even lower as these will run out eventually.

2018 packs are endangered and on the brink of extinction. 2019 will eventually follow.

Opened my 2, Tatis, Acuna, Kikuchi (Regular and 3D), Jimenez, were the main highlights for me. Not complaining at all, these look so good!

So what’s the thought on the numbering of these?

Last year’s numbering was straight 1-100 for the base but this year’s has the same numbering as S1, S2, and Update (i.e. Alonso is 475, Guerrero is US1, etc...)

Good/bad?

I think it is good. I really wish Topps would have kept with the S1, S2, Update numbering last year. It makes it much more a true parallel of the flagship card with the same number. It looks like Topps also stuck with the same photos as presented in the flagship cards. Overall, a great job by Topps on this again. It does seem that buyers are not getting an entire set with a 17-20 pack purchase like last year. That is one thing that will keep me from opening my packs.

I much prefer the 1-100 numbering. It sets this apart as it’s own set. With this numbering, will people trying to put the set together be confused? I think some in the future will, without a doubt.

The numbering last year did not hurt this product. Why try to fix something that isn’t broken?

I’m disappointed.

I also prefer the 1-100 numbering.
It's quite painful trying to sort the cards with numbers jumping all over.
I had the same issue with Bowman Mega box cards.

It is good because people value the parallels higher than a new set with same image.

The Acuna, Soto, and Gleyber 3D cards have been doing pretty well with their own numbering.

I guess it all comes down to if you're a "player collector" or "set collector".

I'd prefer them cater to the set collector with numbering as player collectors will still chase what they want. Set collectors might not spend the time it takes to realize these aren't 700-card sets.

Again, it wasn't broken before, (sales comparable to Sapphire in relation to release pricing), so why fix it???
