Lebron Silver prizm craze?? - Page 12

Base. I sold my silver and greens off a while ago. Just noticed that base for curry are $10+ and Lebron $25.

I think ill do that. I still have 1 Curry Silver psa 10 left. I sold the other 3 off. Also have a green kobe and shaq.

I agree. If you can somehow get a BGS 10 of a top star's chrome or prizm refractor, you're looking at some serious coin and a long-term gain machine. I'm a PSA guy for sure, but I'm starting to run some elite cards through BGS first because leaving a BGS 10 out of existence would be a disservice to the hobby.

One thing that I have noticed, I sold a few on ebay that have gone unpaid for. It seems more common with LBJ prizms to me right now.

Thanks to this thread I decided to check my boxes that I had stored away since moving to new house 5 years ago.

Found a Lebron Finalist Silver, Kobe USA base, Rose green, and some RC base including a bunch of Kyrie, Lillard, Kawhi, AD.

Also checked the 13-14 Prizm boxes and found some Giannis base and a GREEN prizm!

That card didnt sell. It ended without selling. For the record I got more than that for my psa 10 and I sold almost 3 weeks earlier than that one ended.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't believe this is true. When I go to watchcount, and enter the auction ID it shows that the card sold for $2300. What am I missing?

I stand corrected. I guess it did sell for $2300. It was weird because on my auction ended shows listing has closed and no "sold".

Sometimes that happens right after an auction closes and then fixes itself afterward. I happened to get an email on this one that it sold for $2300 (because I made an offer preiously).... now, that doesn't guarantee it was paid for.

There was another 2013 was extremely questionable bidding. Good looking out. It's important to acknowledge both regular and reverse shills here. You've gotta know the market to figure out what you're looking at. I do not know the market well enough on 2013 to have any idea, but I'd guess it's a regular shill.

FWIW I got a little over $24 each on a 6 count ($145) 2012-13 Prizm BASE. 4-5 of them could gem though, so I am the one leaving money on the table so to speak.

I reread this thread last night because I'm planning on a silver LeBron podcast at some point. Can anyone help me make sense of the pricing now? Which sales do we think were legit? Which ones were likely shilled? Some appear to be a combo of both.
