Good point. I think Tatis also needs to change his approach more than he needs roids. He takes huge hacks when he is down in the count and gets exposed by good offspeed pitches when he’s gearing up and sitting dead red. He’s still got plenty of pop when he connects, but he’s streaky and inconsistent.

What his hobby value is after being tainted by PED’s is one thing (eternally suppressed), but I think if he can make some adjustments he’s actually got a good shot at a turnaround year next season.

Since you seem new here, there is a much lower supply of Soto rookies than Acuna. Regardless of the fact that Acuna's BC Auto was around $1200 at the beginning of the season and Soto's is about $700 right now

There's a much lower supply of Mookie Betts rookies than Juan Soto...and I'd guess his prices have jumped maybe 20%? For some cards maybe a little bit more?

The only way his cards see that sort of appreciation is if he gets traded to the Yankees and wins the MVP there. An MVP season in San Diego is not going to help his cards rise 2-3x.

His cards will not move higher next season unless the whole market moves (not happening) or he turns in a 2022 Judge performance (not happening).

The headwinds are simply too great right now. A lot of Acuna is flat to slightly up despite what he’s done this year.
