I can confirm a couple things. The in stock at your store notifications on Walmart.com are not accurate. I was there when the MJ rep stocked my local store which was showing in stock and there was no mosaic to be found.

Second I ran into an Excel rep at target just nearby and this was interesting. I asked him if he was stocking and he said yes and he kind of gave me a little bit of business like you’re going to have to wait till I open the boxes but I can tell you I probably don’t want to have what you were looking for. I told him I was looking for any basketball and he said yeah I doubt I have that. Knowing he was full of #@#@#@#@ I waited him out and of course when he opened the large sealed box all I could see was the big M and ended up with all 18 blasters he had in his case.

I decided to play it nice with the guy and strike up a conversation and he let me in on a bunch of information. He basically told me that his company put a bunch of processes and procedures in place after the big boom with optic and prizm. They had people following and almost stalking their reps constantly so they’ve changed up their stocking schedules as well as the people stocking certain routes. He also said that they are no longer allowed to tell customers what’s in the boxes before they open them as well as they are not allowed to tell anyone where they’re going next to where they’ve been. I just happened to get lucky to get to the store when I did. He also told me the reps work on commission so he could care less if I bought everything as soon as he put it on the shelf which I did. But as we talked I figured out at the beginning he was lying to me and basically he knew that he had mosaic on the cart. He said this was a rush emergency shipment to get stuff on the shelf and he talked about the same things we talk about in this thread with Panini being shut down due to the virus and not being able to produce anything and now that they’re open back up they are trying to push product into the store quickly with mosaic at least what they got but he said a lot of orders have in fact been cut I just happen to be at one of the best selling stores in the state which I guess was good luck for me and they got a large allotment.

Just went looking on eBay. Thought mega boxes were going for close to $200. See a lot going for $150 now. Guess people gotta pay off those credit cards ASAP.

it's funny to go on a card website and see the mega's listed "on sale" for 199.00

Got an email from Target saying that Mosaic was back in stock. I was out of the house, so I missed it.

Looks like Blasters and Megas are what some people are finding at walmart today. Guessing the hangers are going to be the tough find now

Seems like it may have just been a glitch or something. No one on here seemed to get anything and reported it was sold out again immediately after the alert went out.

This is literally my second time venturing into basketball. When prizm came out i would hit up different walmarts to look for 18 update baseball and would see fully freshly stocked shelves of prizm and would not touch it so when i came across a restock of prizm a couple weeks later I decided to buy all the hangers at one store; 14 of them. I left behind 5 megas, like 10 blasters and a full box of cellos anyway, I immediately sold the 14 hangers for double what i paid. I looked at recent sales and see those now go for like $100. Definitely lesson learned. Ill be smart this time and hold todays find and will sell later this year to maximize my profit.

I have no self control with this stuff. Found Opened 2 megas and 3 blasters today and had full intention on selling to recoup some previous costs.... within 10 minutes of walking in the door I opened all of it. Only decent hit was a Dr J auto, which is cool, but I def would have made more selling them sealed.

see thats the beauty of it for me. I dont care for basketball so its easy for me to keep mine sealed. baseball is a different story. It definitely takes a lot of self control to not rip my current baseball stash.

I spent like 4 hours hitting Walmart’s only to get 2 blasters and 3 hangers. Then my last Walmart on Wheatland at 2:00 they had the 4 megas and 6 blasters

For those who can't keep their boxes sealed.
Pick up a couple USPS large flat rate boxes and a roll of tape.
Insert said boxes gently into the depth of your best climate conditioned closet space and make sure you have enough fuel to get back to 88 MPH
