They received my submission on a Friday. Received confirmation (email) from them on the following Monday. Order appeared on my account the following day (Tuesday). Now it's a waiting game. Plus I just sent them another submission, it's scheduled to deliver tomorrow (was delivered on Monday). So I'll probably go through the exact same process once again.

My grades for 3/23 received date just popped. Only one 9.5 out of 16 cards. In addition to not getting my free case for this order, they slapped me with a bunch of 8's and 8.5's. Even for PC cards, I won't be using them anymore.

If you went with subgrades on this order, then you will be able to find out why you received the grades you got.

Been collecting since the 90s, that's why I stuck with BGS as much as I could. They all have subgrades, I'm sure it has to do with the grader moreso than any issues with the cards themselves. I prescreened all the cards prior to dropping them off in person.

May I ask what type of cards did you submit?

1 out of 16??? Ouch...In the past my submissions were small (5-8 per submission), yet I probably average one 9 per submission (9.5 on the rest). Last month I submitted 10, and just now they received my submission of 17. IMHO I made an extra effort on the prep of these subs than in the past. If my 9.5 rate is under 50%...something has definitely changed.

I submitted some cards that weren't common. They had some foil, etching, and some were diecuts. Usually with these cards you have to know how they're supposed to look, obviously if most of them received 8 and 8.5s they're not looking at something correctly. They all had similar designs and are ultra modern.

At the end of the day you're paying for someone's opinion so I can't fault them too much, I just won't be giving them any more business due to other issues these past few years.

BGS doesn't grade easy... despite what the majority of this forum says. If you got subgrades its usually easy to tell why you got the grades you did.

My 15 card order was as follows:

(5) 9.5 Gem Mint
(7) 9 Mint (expected 1 or 2 of these to gem, but got poor edge grades for some reason)
(1) 8.5 (expected, as centring was poor, grades were 8/9.5/9.5/10)
(1) 7.5 (rare Ovechkin cup card that got unfairly hammered on centring)
(1) Altered (will post result when I get them back tomorrow, have no idea WTF)

Most of this submission was 90's PC stuff, cheap cards that I wanted slabbed for my collection. I would have expected a couple more 9.5's but I'll re-review when I get them back as I bet they're fairly graded.

Really my only concern with Beckett has been overly harsh centering grades. And more specifically on non-bordered cards where it feels like they just make it up sometimes. Other then that my subgrades have usually made sense.

I just recently decided to submit my 1st 90's card (1993-94 NBA Hoops), as most of my subs are from 2013-2017. I kept notes on all the recent cards I submitted. My personal grade for the 90's card was a 9 due to centering. We shall see...

Anyone have a sense of how long it usually takes between “Label Printed” and shipping for a priority order? Figured they’d be the same day or the next but that doesn’t appear to be the case as I received the “Label Printed” status yesterday.

My 'collectors special' order was 2 days from label printed to shipped.

Grades Popped: 7/5
Shipped: 7/7
Delivered: 7/11

The one card that didn't come back with a grade (as I posted about last week) was slabbed as "Altered" and noted at suspected trimming on the back bottom edge. Checked it over last night and all back edges have minor chipping (fairly standard on a mid 90's, dollar bin card) except for the bottom edge which is nearly perfect. So it very well was likely trimmed. Damn.

And the couple cards that came back 9 Mint, which I was hoping for 9.5's on all had an edge issue on the backs that I missed before submitting. Oh well.

I got 3/28 also but collectors, I was thinking friday after comparing to others before but looks like they falling even further behind so maybe next week

I think yours should be done before mine since they prioritized base over collectors so lmk when yours is graded lol
