I know it's part of the game, but 8 batters were hit in this last LA/SD series. Accident happen, but injuries can really destroy the fun of the game. I want to see Ohtani, Tatis and all the other players have great seasons because it's better for baseball.

Imagine if Ohtani's season was done this year, all because SD/Suarez wanted to send some stupid message - And on the flip side, Tatis, who is having a great year, is now injured. Absolutely stupid.

I agree though, the WNBA embarrassed themselves with the CC situation the other day. By far the worst professional league in the history of televised American sports.

The difference is that Suarez was throwing intentionally up near Ohtani's head with near 100 mph stuff...that's garbage. The semi-wild LA rookie making his MLB debut simply missed inside and Tatis swung and got hit. I don't want to see anyone injured especially since the Dodgers lost Mookie last year due to some scrub throwing inside and not controlling it, and that is what happened last night with Tatis.

I watched the replay at lunch and gotta say that, to me, the rookie didn't mean to hit Tatis as his first two pitches were inside as well as the one that hit him. Pitching him inside is absolutely the Dodgers game plan against Tatis.

Suarez was intentionally throwing at Ohtani.

Maybe, just maybe, if your rookie pitcher, or any of their pitchers apparently, can't control their stuff inside, they shouldn't be pitching there.

Tatis has been hit 3 times in a week, that's not normal. It may not be directly intentional, but if you're intentionally throwing inside and you can't control it, the guy has to own it as if it was.

You don't head hunt, period. That ends careers and sometimes lives. That's the issue everyone has with what Suarez did. Typical clown logic by a Pads fan.
