Need payments from Dbacks and SC515 today

I will PM instructions for setting keepers later on today, but to post it here too-

1. Mark your max 20 keepers in ESPN on your team page. Remember that anyone you trade for is NOT automatically marked as a keeper, so you will have to update after the trade goes through. We can also post trades here so we know if someone isn't available

2. Drop all non-keepers from your team

Prospect keepers are due at the same time as MLB keepers. Unless I hear otherwise, I will assume everyone wants to keep all prospects they have. If you'd like anyone to be promoted or dropped, let me know before keepers are due

I am at 21 players right now with a full minor league roster. I'd like to get creative to get that down to 20. I'm offering a couple of options.

Option 1- Take two major leaguers and one prospect for a top 10 pitching prospect and a decent major leaguer.
Option 2- Take two minor leaguers and one major leaguer for a top 10 pitching prospect.

This offer will really only apply to a couple of teams. You know who you are.

Offensive players:
Hoskins
R. Mcmahon
K. Tucker
JD Davis
B. Reynolds
Semien
B. Rodgers
T. Anderson
L. Urias
Fletcher
Urshula

Pitching:
Kimbrel

Minor leaguers:
Taylor Trammell
Joey Bart
Colton Welker

My keepers are pretty well locked in. Open to some specific types of trades still, but I don't have much of any wiggle room with my 20 slots right now so the numbers would have to line up. I can be more flexible after the draft and will be looking to make some more deals then

My keepers-

1. Mitch Garver
2. Matt Olson
3. Luis Arraez
4. Manny Machado
5. Jorge Polanco
6. Kris Bryant
7. Aaron Judge
8. George Springer
9. Yordan Alvarez
10. Shohei Ohtani
11. Shane Bieber
12. Stephen Strasburg
13. Zack Wheeler
14. Luis Severino
15. Mike Minor
16. Michael Kopech
17. Julio Urias
18. Taylor Rogers
19. Kenley Jansen
20. Ken Giles

Severino news is a blow and hurts things a bit, but other than that I'm pretty happy with the group I have

I do still have Sal Perez, Nick Markakis, Mitch Haniger, and Sean Newcomb that I would move for a draft pick

You're welcome on Rogers, Giles, Urias, Springer, Ohtani, and indirectly Wheeler. Don't ever say I'm not a giver.

I have a feeling I'll miss a couple of the guys I sent your way, specifically Adley. I could use Musgrove back too. Saw it coming with the number of risky SPs I have, but so it goes. Will have to hope Pearson and Mize don't take their time this year and give me a nice boost

Adley looks like a generational talent at a position where production is a wasteland in the major leagues right now. But they said the same thing about Matt Weiters back in the day so who knows. I like the gamble though.

And I've said it several times but I'll say it again. I truly believe if Musgrove can keep the ball in the park and slightly improve his K rate that he's going to finish in the top 10 in NL Cy Young voting this season. I believe in him that much.

All of that being said you can take advantage of my offer above and deal me Pearson or Mize. I'm not going to complain. LOL

Can see two of those names potentially jumping in the first round if no trades come your way.

Also I just went ahead and pushed both pending trades through on ESPN so involved owners can update their keepers accordingly

Current FAs (pre roster drops) draft Preview

Catcher
Travis d'arnaud joins a braves lineup, will he split at bats or will his bat thrive in a improved lineup?

Buster Posey - Is it time to move to a new role, is it Joey Barts time or will he get another average points total at catcher for a team this year. His value is only for a year or two, but with the right team that may be what they need.

Jorge Alfaro - improved marlins lineup - could we see him jump to be a top 5 catcher... Lets be honest, its not hard to imagine that.

Danny Jansen - Struggled last year - but looked better as the year progressed. Still young. Still the potential is there.

Willians Astudillo - In a points league, if he gets at bats (if) hes a solid guy for catcher value, the problem is - Garver, Sano, Donaldson.... everyone steals at bats from the guy. The Bartolo Colon of batters not getting the luck.

Omar Narvez - Big shoes to fill in Mil, be interesting to see how he plays.

Francisco Mejia - is this the year he puts it together - post hype? I doubt, but a team on the rebuild could take a flyer.

First base
CJ Cron - Not sure how I feel about him in Det, but his power should give him 300 points +- 30 points. I dont see him going above 330, not falling much below 270 total.

Daniel Murphy - Whats the infield. Is he at first, is it mcmahon, is it someone else, the rockies lineup scares me but he has the talent for 400 points in this type of league. He does carry some risk though. However, worth it at round 21 essentially - without a doubt

Christian Walker - For a rebuilding team, this may be a dream pick in the early rounds, 30 hr potential, still very young, and a pretty solid lineup with ton of rbi potential marte squared hitting in front of him.

Miguel Cabrera - Could he have one more Miguel season, doubt it. Could he get 300-320 points. Sure.

Jesus Aguilar - Bounceback alert. Marlins lineup with regular at bats. Be interesting to see. Will he be drafted? I doubt it, will he be on my watch list, you bet.

Chris Davis - lol. No. But maybe someone will take for the laughs.

Rowdy Tellez - While I like Christian Walker better, Tellez could be a rebuilding team target in the late rounds. Power potential.

Mike Ford - Here is my sleeper pick of the draft, and im so confident in my team ill include him here. Ford takes the 1b job over Voit this spring. Thats right. I saw him in about 10 games in scranton in AAA, hes a major league player.

A trade between Todderfield and I. I didn't exactly get what I was looking for in a deal but I'm stoked to get Vaughn.

I'm sending Hoskins, Kimbrel, and Joey Bart to Todderfield for Anthony Rizzo and Andrew Vaughn.

I'll take care of the ESPN part now.

Todd and I put the trade through at the same time. LOL. But it's pending approval. Woody can you push that through so we can set our keepers?

I do not like moving rizzo... but I sure love the value I got back. Kimbrel is declining but still good... hoskins and rizzo are not that far off, and vaughn/bart is a decent swap.

Bart to my minors please.

2b

Jurikson Profar - SD hasnt announced there starting 2b yet. Profar has all the talent, and in a lineup with all the talent. Does it click? is it worth a first rounder?

Kolton Wong - Better suited for Roto then points, but a consistent 2b with 280-320 points with minimal more upside, but a solid floor.

Jonathan Schoop - Once a top 10 2b not too long ago, but Det lineup wont help him much. 350 point upside.... 220 point floor... maybe worse.

Robinson Cano - The Buster Posey of 2b.... Can he give 1-2 more good years - maybe. Does he have much value in this league? No, but on the right team, if he bounces back. To see him not kept is a surprise.

Garrett Hampson - See Kolton Wong, better for roto, tons of steals, may not even be a starter. Good upside on a rebuilder imo

Franklin Barreto - Profar, but in Oakland. Will he win a job? He has the talent, is this the year? Who knows. Will he be drafted? dunno, is he worth a shot, on some teams sure

Adam Frazier - he starts, bad lineup, high floor of 260 prob, low upside prob max of 300. He is what he is.

Brian Dozier - If not profar, could it be Dozier, could he bounce back? Unlikely. Could he be drafted by our commish rethinking his glory days in the twins uniform.... also unlikely.
