I admittedly got a little carried away in the politics thread, albeit often times not entirely serious. I’m trying to suck less. I’ve made about as much progress as Ben Simmons has on his mid range game.

Cheers.

This Clippers squad is led by the same two superstars who choked away a 3-1 lead last year. You’re taking the Clippers because the “Mavs just haven't learned how to win tight games that matter yet”. Well neither have the Clippers.

If you want to take them because Kawhi has playoff experience and won some titles, that’s fine. But that’s not what you said. This Clippers team has proven absolutely nothing, and has constantly underachieved since Kawhi and PG came aboard.

that was in reference to your post, that the Clippers are “big game” tested which is false. they lost to a leas experienced denver last year. this season, the mavs are extending the series to 7, which they have no business doing and still has a punchers chance to eliminate them on their own turf.

Last year is not this year.

context matters and with this post, we are in agreement. though in the end, the 4 other players still needs to show up as you know.

for the record, i do have the clippers winning this game but I don’t believe “big game” experience is the key as blackbear likes to point out. big game experience would’ve wrapped this series in 5 games.

i think the mavs are simply outmatched in talent. 12.7 ppg and 4 rpg from your lone max-contract player isn’t going to cut it.

Yeah, I feel bad for the 5th grade pettiness, but honestly I'm bored and maybe a little fired up because I'm on call and stuck at home. Not a great excuse and I feel bad I've sunk to khal's level.

But I haven't had to go in to the hospital (just lot's of calls) so all in all, it's been a good day.

Splitting hairs? The lost to Denver: Was it not a big game? Last I checked game sevens are pretty BIG.

Several members of the clips have at least PLAYED a game seven. So I ask again: Who on the mavs have??????

I think the Nets take this one fairly comfortably but have the Bucks for the series.

How can you not say big game experience isn't the key?

Did you watch the Clips in game 6? Did you watch them erase those leads of Dallas far too quickly?

Kawhi closed the game out.

Reggie Jackson, who people forget, had to fill Westbrook's shoes one season when he got injured.

I think it's pretty clear experience played a massive part. Not many teams could go and win a game on the road like that.

Luka showed some inexperience with his silly circus shots trying to sraw fouls in the biggest game of his career to date.

Even PG finally figured out he needed to go his mid range to get going a little. Although he had some coach killing turnovers at times.

I hope Dallas can win still. If they light it up they can do it.

I would play Brunson 30 mins at least. Kleiber is out unless you're gonna get him some looks at 3.

And gosh I hope the Bucks win today. I think if they can apply defensive pressure on BKN they can win..but Giannis will also need to beast.

Beard challenging for the Street Clothes title.

Already walking back to the locker room a minute after tipoff.
