It shows that there have been 214 quarterly sales and Raw has sold 39 up to $47.65. But no details. I cannot see each sale price and when, etc.

Or am I missing something?

Yes. The history point is almost completely useless. It only gives the one price of the card which sold and shipped for the most in the history of COMC. This includes the base price of the card plus the pro-rated amount the buyer paid for shipping and handling. So, if they are an overseas buyer and they paid $31.65 base price plus $1 elite handling plus $15 shipping, that's all lumped together into the $47.65. OTOH, if they shipped 3 cards for the $15 then it's pro-rated to $5 per card.

Plus, it's only one data point. There are many instances of hot rookies selling for huge amounts at the start, but then they flame out as a player and the cards go to near zero. There are probably some very high priced Wander Franco cards according to History Points.

A more useful point is that 240 cards sold on the site, while 39 actually shipped. Another is that there are 20 copies currently for sale on the site, with 2 in auction queues. So the ratio of 12:1 sold vs the number in stock, or 2 sold and shipped per 1 in stock is quite strong. If you didn't already know that this was a strong card. But again, it's of limited value.

If you have SRP, you can see that the Suggested Wholesale Price of the card is $16.50. If it had more quarters of data, you could see the SWP during each of those quarters as well. This is fairly closely correlated to actual recent sales (base price, not including shipping, including cards that are still on the site, and cards that might have been shipped). But it's also of limited value, and not available if you only have History Points.

does COMC put the auto grade in the listings? I swear they did but submitted correction requests and they marked it as resolved without doing anything

example: listing says (psa 7) but the 10 auto grade isn't apart of it

This is where I am at, seems everything being sent to COMC lately is base junk that has a bunch of other copies for pennies already on the site (nothing wrong with base on COMC, but we don't need 30 copies of each card) or good cards that are priced at double or triple what they should be.

I've been sending thousands of cards over the last few months (2000 - 2024 stuff) to reduce clutter, all stuff in the $5-50 range and its been selling well. Just wish they would get to my backlog soon, not sure why adding 1 card per day from each submission is accomplishing anything.

I agree it's frustrating. Near as I can tell, "Bracket Battles" is just Spring Cleaning, except it last 38 days and there's some sort of contest element to it.

This is the longest free sale promo in COMC history and many people (sellers and buyers) are completely unaware of its existence. Last I checked, there were only about 1200 promotional sales taking place while Black Friday had something like 4,000 sellers participating.

It doesn't help that COMC is trying to catch up on shipping, so they didn't throw any kind of shipping discount into this event. Also it doesn't help that they added that weird 25 cent per card surcharge to all non-bulk shipping, so they can't just offer a $5.99 discount and call it free shipping.

Additionally, there doesn't seem to be any kind of way to monitor your progress in this "Bracket Battle". I sold about 500 cards in the first 2 days, but I have no idea where I stand in the "Bracket". Am I in 10th place or 500th place? If I end the current sale at 20% and start a new one at 25%, does that add to my stats or do I start over at 0?

That being said, personally, my sales have been very brisk during this sale, and I would encourage any COMC seller who isn't participating to launch a "Bracket Battles" sale. Even if it's 5% off.

LOL. I didn't notice the months and thought this was a 6-day promotion.

Is COMC still 1,000,000+ cards ahead of orders?

Thanks - for some reason I thought they did. Guess sending in cards with mediocre card grades and 10 auto grades isn't a good move. Oh well

I've been on more of a spending flurry than normal. I've already spent nearly twice as much as I did all of last year
