The jumbo box aka HTA (with the 3 autos) has sold for around 2200-2300 if you can find it at that price. Our host has them at 3k box/24k sealed case of 8. Could have got a case back in the day for the price of a box today lol.

The resiliency of his cards was surprising to me, and many original collectors (~2018). Even in his darkest times of 2020, his cards never truly tanked. I suspect that his Japanese career was always going to provide him a decent floor.

Oh, and I bought it as a bgs 9.5/9. I came to the conclusion I'll never sell it so crossing it to a PSA 9 was a no-brainer.

you bring up a great point about his pre-MLB days.
i think its easy for those of us over here to forget or
not even realize that he was a super star before 2018

I think it's just a US thing to not fully acknowledge non-MLB games. Many people have argued against Ichiros stats saying they don't matter because it wasn't in the majors.

its just ..... different over there IMO.
More like AAAA than MLB, but that does not mean that its not important
