No Judge: below .500 team.

Yankees win% without Judge in 2025 .400. With Judge .589.

He's pretty valuable to the Yankees.

for his career,

with Judge in the lineup - 674-479 .589
w/o Judge in the line up - 197-176 .528

Basically, they make the playoffs with Judge in the lineup and they do not without him.

Since people want to talk about Cal and records, how about Judge? His 53 HRs are the most EVER by a batting champion. Not just his POSITION. All players!

Yup! Sell your Judge's to me. I'll take them off your hands, cheap!

But to address the obvious troll post about Judge's cards, I don't think the prices are dipping any time soon. He might get a slight uptick if he wins the MVP but I don't see them jumping much higher. Nor do I see them falling much if he does not win. His monumental numbers are enough alone to keep his card prices high. He doesn't need the hardware to drive his card prices.

Very surprised A-Rod not on that list so I had to look it up; one season > 10.0 & three @ 9.4

Not even Blowout darlings Trout and Ohtani have done this. Ohtani still looking for his first 10 WAR season.

Has any non-steroid player post WW2 had a better 3 seasons than Judge has had in 2022, 2024, 2025?

I don’t often agree with you, but this is a pretty juicy stat.

I just hope Cap keeps it rolling!

Mickey Mantle in 1956, 1957 and 1961: 11.5, 11.4 and 10.3 fWAR

Judge in 2022, 2024 and 2025: 11.1, 11.3, and 10.1 fWAR

Is Judge going to transform from a regular season Diamond into a Post Season lump of coal, AGAIN !

I realize that WAR is context-neutral and that works to define value in the regular season for many people. It’s when a great regular season performer in a much higher leverage setting becomes a 3-31 hitter in RISP opportunities & 1-13 with zero RBI’s in 2 out W/RISP over his last 40 playoff games. The most un-Ortiz hitter in playoff history needs to get kissed by a post season frog.

I did conveniently leave the 16 strikeout mess in 20 at bats in the 2017 5 game series out in equating Judge in RISP opportunities. Judgement occurs in the post season as much as the regular. He needs to wake up!

Ted Williams OPS+ 1946 215, 1947 205 (won Triple Crown), 1957 233.

Probably, its small sample size against good pitching. They got to beat up against the CWS and BAL at home and they did what they should do, but that's not the same as facing Crochet.

Of course it’s going to be a smaller sample size when failure is met with opportunity. Example, don’t come up to a woman and then fart or have a bugger on your upper lip and expect the same amount of opportunities as a guy who took a gas x or wiped his nose. Judge has a OPS of .4367 in his last 40 plate appearances with RISP in the post season. His 2 out W/RISP OPS in the same time span is .2769. He has been healthy and yet he just chokes in the playoffs when capitalizing creates more opportunities.

Judge has to put the ball into play when there are RISP opportunities. He has GIDP 1 time but reached on error twice, success doesn’t have to look pretty. Strikeouts may be equal to all outs but force the fielder into making a play. Playoffs are limited to those who fail.
