I hope not for whoever drafted him! I guess they diagnosed it as tendonitis in the elbow he had tommy john on and is shut down from catching for a week but he still might DH in a few days so for now at least it doesn't sound too bad. Hopefully it doesn't turn into something serious again

In other news, I finally got a hold of Topps for a redemption replacement. It was my first (and hopefully only) redemption ever. It was a post-season performance relic from 2014 Topps Series 1 of Xander Bogaerts. It's been pending for over a year now so I emailed them last week and they finally got back to me today. They gave me a replacement value of 80 bucks

.....I wasn't expecting that much at all but I'm not complaining at all

. I told them I collect Pirates so who knows what will show up......I'm not too picky since I don't collect the Red Sox and I pulled the redemption from a single retail pack I picked up from Target for a couple bucks so really anything I'll be happy with. Only time will tell what shows up in the mail!
