Nope no single tree or one eyed squirrel also no whoo whoo trucks . There was a cool Sasquatch statue outside of that the underground mine we toured. Lots of Glaciers and water falls could’ve taken a bunch of the white pass railway cars I think my wife took a few pictures of those.

Physical therapy is not going to be too bad.

Apparently the issue is more muscular than skeletal. It is more a matter of stretching things out in and around the shoulder than anything else. The most my pain level got to today was about a 3 out of 10. Once again the smoke show worked with me.

I went with my parents out to lunch to the Mexican place we missed out on a couple of weeks ago. When I left them to go to physical therapy, I got a call just after I got onto the main road out of their area. My mom said to come back. My dad fell going between the couch and the recliner in his room. I guess he tried to bend down to move a vacuum cord on the way and fell. I did a 3-point u-turn right in the middle of the road (fortunately no traffic) and got back there in about 2 minutes. He is fine.

Getting old is not for the faint of heart...

My mom is afraid of leaving my dad alone for 10 days when she goes to Chicago early next month. She IS going!!! This will likely be the last time she will see her oldest sister as she is 85 and won't be coming down here any more.

There will be plenty of food for my dad, which he knows how to heat up (if needed). I will take him out for lunch multiple times and stop by most days. My sister is going to have to step up a bit while my mom is gone as I have a show during her trip.

Feeling a sense of calm and peacefulness this morning. I got up at 430am. Woke before my alarm.

2 of the gentleman at the crisis house are moving right along in the housing process. One was accepted into a permanent housing program. Hoping for an October 1st move in date. We were very fortunate to be able to get a voucher for the other. We are seeing an apartment today that looked rather nice. Fingers crossed this works out for him.

Cleaned up the living room, turned on all the special lights (shark light and butterfly globe), turned on the wax melt, feed the cat, deep cleaned her water bowl, soaked an air plant, star gazed and walked barefoot in the grass. Finished up the meal plan and grocery list and spot cleaned the bathroom. Kids dont get up for another 30 minutes. Also found the Halloween cards I plan on sending out and got return address labels on them. I am all out of $2 bills and will need to get more soon. Had to send a $5 bill in my goddaughter's birthday card. I am sure she was pleased with the extra money. She has over 20 $2 bills now. She loves collecting them.

Another idiot govie who can't do their job. My new subcontract employee had his account request denied by the security office because the lady said he did not have his user agreement signed and security course completed on the Information Assurance site it needs to be done on. I login to that site, look up his records with his ID number, and both show completed as of 9/5/2025.

What's worse is that there is no way to update the process after it has been rejected. You have to start over with a brand new request.

Mrs. FT got into it with the youngest SD last night. Apparently, she did not invite the oldest SD to her original wedding in April nor is she invited to the courthouse/dinner wedding in October. An argument ensued which encompassed her entire childhood through today.

Here's what a hypocrite the youngest SD is. She said that everyone who was once a drug addict is always a drug addict. That is why she refuses to allow the oldest SD to come. She doesn't want her guests to feel uncomfortable and worry about her stealing something of theirs (from a crowded restaurant with cameras). My future SILs Father is a recovering drug addict who was fired from Amazon last year for stealing but they have no issues with him coming.

Mrs. FT is still pretty angry this morning as she was telling me about the argument.
