I think high-end is about to go nuts tbh. This is exactly the spotlight he needed to draw in old eastcoast money.

Edit - Sold about 5 cards since first pitch for a few K. This spotlight is having a visible/measurable effect.

I never saw this before but it reminded me of my posts from 2019. This was after his Tommy John Surgery. I was invested in Acuna, Soto and Ohtani at that time.

I still don’t get all the calls for MVP this early. I am not calling you out specifically. It has been mentioned dozens of times and comes up in other player threads. Is it excitement, pumping, or what? Are people serious, half serious or joking? I don’t think many MVP awards have been handed out before the All Star break.

There are 3-4 specific cards on eBay that have no business sitting there. I bit the bullet and threw back in a few thousand as well. There is so much dust in the air right now that if you can see, you should take advantage.

Most of them are duplicates I am unloading my rest of Acuna and Soto high end in July. At the end of July, I will have no Acuna and Soto cards in my PC but I will be holding on to these Ohtani cards-

Definitely not high on the Ohtani RC valuable autograph ranking, but this is one of my favorite autograph cards of him.
Love the classic design, and also kinda like the fact that there aren't bunch of different parallels of it.
It's just 15 of this and that's it.

I bought BGS 9.5 (the "lower tier" of 9.5) of the card from PWCC auction few weeks ago.
That'll probably be the most expensive Ohtani purchase for me for a while, though I thought it was a steal at the time.

I've always like that card. Only Ginter RC auto that has the actual RC logo I think.

OMG $230???? Jesus christ. Obviously I never saw it because foilboard wasn't in the title. Unbelievable buy.
