Deadshot I’ll share a few questions I have for Eric in regards to your post about how to move forward:

What have you learned from this thread about the cards you’ve owned and currently own?

What will your role be in this hobby moving forward? Is it business as usual again or have you implemented any changes to your business since this thread started?

Do you see yourself leaving the hobby because of this?

I like these. Let's try and stay away from YES/NO questions unless absolutely needed. I would also add:

What is your current protocol for dealing with trimmed/altered cards? It seems to vary by value.

What will your future approach look like to handling altered cards?

And just for kicks...where can I find this...in a medium?

Unsurprisingly, Raynald Handojo deleted all before and after pictures of his "service" from his Instagram page. Here are additional screencaps I had taken back in August of other affected cards, including ones not already posted on page 36 of this thread. It might prove useful to see who currently owns these, if they haven't already been sold off to unsuspecting buyers. Blink blink y'all.

Is there any way to see other deleted Instagram posts? When I search his IG handle on Google Images, this BNC MJ is one of the top results. I can't find the missing link that Google is using to populate this result.

EDIT: Looks like it's some sort of Pinterest pin? I'm not really up to date on how those work. I might have to ask my wife lol

EDIT 2: "Pintrest is basically an album of your favorite things. I think you can "pin" pretty much any page. So this isn't much."

And at the end, the score rank and authenticity are done by Beccket not the cards owner. And I’m sure you all know that Beccket will decline altered, recolouring and fake cards, and it's possible that Beccket also done some human error sometime. I once a former collector, and I have encounter many different sizes of original cards like MJ XRC, Noyz Boyz , Slam Cam, Ultimate Signature those cards has different sizes (big/small), not because the cards are being altered. It’s nothing worth arguing, people are free to have their opinions and choices.

bye..
So you just "fix" them and it's up to the grading companies to try and catch it..?

What exactly do you do when you 'treatment' or 'fix' things such as the corners, edges or surface?

Here's something that I found funny. Both of these images are from BNC, so I don't think this was any attempt to cover up any damage. In fact, the image on the left was an IG post to advertise the listing on the right (so the damage was very visible to buyers).

I thought the damage had been fixed at first but it looks like a creative way to use that goofy white striped background lol

Another question I would add to my list for BNC:

Obviously you've sold an incredible amount of cards over the years. How do you determine which sold cards are placed on your website? Like how did you choose the 2 Curry NT cards on your site now as opposed to these 3 you showed off on your IG at some point?

I've been trying to catch up on the whole thread for a few days, gotta say quite the challenge, but all the information uncovered here is amazing. Every time I log in to read more, the information gets better and better. Great insight into the modern collecting world and sad at the same time that this is now a reality of the hobby.

Here's my list of questions for BNC so far, in no particular order. I will keep adding as people bring them up and then I will weed some of them out later.

What is your current protocol for dealing with trimmed/altered cards? It seems to vary by value.

What will your future approach look like to handling altered cards?

What have you learned from this thread about the cards you’ve owned and currently own?

What will your role be in this hobby moving forward? Is it business as usual again or have you implemented any changes to your business since this thread started?

Do you see yourself leaving the hobby because of this?

Where do you stand morally on the issue of subbing over and over until you get the grade you want?
You have admitted to doing this. Are you cleaning up the card between subs? How many times do you resub?

Noticed that one of the complimentary comments and one of the "likes" came from Norcalcardz - a Blowout member who PC's Michael Jordan.

I think he asked the pretty obvious question of how there was a huge bump on the corners. The "Nice!" seems like the safest way to ask it without immediately incriminating the original poster. I don't know anything about Norcalcardz, but I wouldn't drag him into this right now.

Yup that’s how I interpreted it as well.

Some food for thought in regards to raynaldhandojo. First let me say I 100% disagree with the type of service he offers and I believe “repair” is equivalent to “alter”. However is he doing anything illegal by altering these cards if he has full consent from the owner of the card and isnt the one sending them in to be graded? Isn’t it really his clients who are more culpable because they knowingly use a service that alters cards, then they knowingly send these altered cards into the grading services in hopes of getting one by them. Aren’t they the ones who are committing the most serious fraud?

Just assume the worst responses here, or the response that correlates to him making more $$. Thats it. Thats all its about.

Come'on Man! Seriously?

So it's "ok" to sell someone cocaine, because they are not using it themselves?

Yes, what he’s doing is clearly wrong. What I’m asking is who’s committing the crime? At first glance it seems it must be raynaldhandojo but the more I think of it, the more serious criminal offense is coming from those who use his services then try to dupe the grading companies, then try to fraud a buyer. Don’t get me wrong raynald is still culpable imo because he advertises how he can get his clients better scores. If he was smarter, he’d add some bs line about his repairs are for PC cards only, and any attempt to get these cards graded could be considered fraud.
