if I'm looking at the same guy you referring to, then he has 41 Jeter sets and 100 Harper sets remaining at the moment. This presumes that he doesn't have additional unlisted sets.. Which cannot be ruled out, since he clearly buys in bulk -- he has multiple 200ct Kevin Durant (low end topps) RC lots for sale as well..

There is no way i would sell jeter or harper set right now...

Not with ohtani set going for 150-200

Welcome to my world...who knew living in Texas would cause your mail to be a week or two behind the rest of the country. It has to due with Houston as the package all go threw there twice. Must have to go through some drug sniffing line or something.

Castellanos, Panik and Judge BGS 9.5 just hit eBay. Seller not asking much of a premium over raw. I just checked PSA and the first graded cards are in. Judge psa 9- 8 cards and psa 10- 7 cards. I would like to see those on eBay.

Boo PSA bland Red and White labels with no real information about the card. I get the old card, old label look but otherwise they offer nothing that I want or need to know about a card that I can’t tell by looking at it.

While I like that they have the PR on the front, it just saying "Living" is weird looking.

I have a feeling today will be a good day for deals on sets. There are some auctions that look like they may end on the low side. Ohtani week set last night only went for $163 at auction. Maybe the high PR this week will clear out some flippers who are new to the game.

same, I think prices will be in a lull or hangover period. That could last just a few days, or maybe a few weeks, no idea since this set has been completely unpredictable so far.
But I do think that with the combination of all the recent events [surge in resale prices + astronomical PRs] lots of people will be looking to sell.
There will still be lots of buyers, so I don't see prices tanking or anything like that.
However, we've seen multiple pullbacks now, Hoskins for one, and now the Ohtani set.
I still think that $350+ Ohtani set was an anomaly, but definitely legit sales in the $200s just a few days ago, and now its at $160ish.

i disagree about prices dropping on older ones. The reason for lowered prices on any bundle involving rookies is due to on-field performance of said rookies. If there is a dip in the other cards, I will be very surprised. If anything, the older cards will be in even greater demand. We will see!

Edit - just saw that someone listed three Markakis in auctions ending at the exact same time tonight - so when those go for less, it will be an anomaly. (already over $200+ each but...)

Why do you suppose prices on the early shorter printed cards are going up? I know its all supply and demand, but I am trying to figure out what is driving the demand, specifically for the Markakis card. Is it set builders jumping in that need the Markakis for their set? Is it Braves collectors or Markakis collectors? Is it speculators or people that just think the cards are pretty nice? What do you think is the main attraction to these cards?
