Interesting-- that's the first I had seen a price mentioned. That's actually pretty reasonable. Is there any shipping costs associated with it? Also, I am assuming your Eddie Murray cards are pre-1989? If so, TAG can't grade those.

Yeah… they are pre-1989. I guess they will be returned. And yes, shipping home from COMC would be an additional fee. The stuff that is submitted is already on COMC and will just be returned to my inventory there.

Got it. Sorry I meant is there a shipping fee you are charged for the COMC ---> TAG ---> COMC journey as part of your submission cost? Or is it just the $21?

Oh… it’s a flat $21. Here is what my full sub says..,

“TAG
Submission: Standard Soft Launch - ($200 Max Insured Value) - Estimated 6-week turnaround
Price: $21.00”

So the price will likely change once they open it up to everyone and add different pricing tiers.

Just had a case where they listed an auction as a gold /15 parallel, I placed my bid and a day later when looking over all my bids I noticed it´s actually a /35 in the picture.
Which a) I don´t need and b) the bid is way too high for. Haven´t had to retract a bid on ebay in over a decade and it seems that is no longer even possible as a buyer?
It told me to message the seller which I did but with 5 days left who knows. I guess if all else fails I could claim inad? But I´d rather avoid the hassle for the consignor, too.

Email them at auctions@comc.com to get that team.

Of what year?

Since shipping is this backed up, maybe all of management/ownership needs to roll up their sleeves in order to get caught up. It will never happen, but it is nice to dream.

It’s crazy the shipping is up to 800k items. A lot of that can be attributed to strong card sales during the holidays, but with the level of people you see complaining about COMC’s lack of customer service, you wonder how much of that 800k traffic is people leaving COMC and shipping the “good stuff” from their inventory home.

it is possible especially after thosebackpages spread the rumor that they're going out of business

Dear lord....

Where is a Julia COMC email bragging about literally anything?

3 month estimate is unacceptable.

It would be a minuscule percentage of cards. There was around 700k after Black Friday week. An extra 100-200k out of 45M cards is 0.2-0.4% of all available inventory.

My expedited order with a shipment ETA for today is not even in the picking status.

My other bulk shipment had about 561k ahead of it when I placed the order 11/26 and there's still 391k ahead. That's only 170k bulk cards shipped in about four weeks. Roughly 6538 card per day. Weak. Heck, DCSports probably ships that many a day.

They are also billing my MVP account full price on a recent shipment and have yet to respond to my message sent 12/12.

I understand the insane card demand these days. I have defended COMC during this stretch but I can still say all of this is trending toward unacceptable.

I had sent 10 cards to PSA through COMC back in October. There are rare so checking PSA Pop reports, I can tell the cards were graded a month ago. One card was even upcharged. Is it common for cards sent to PSA take over a month to get into my COMC account after the grades popped?

Yeah… they still need to scan them like the new submissions. Everything is getting pushed back lately.

they need to ship it back to comc and with the huge backlog I wouldn't be too worried

Naturally the epack -> comc transfer, that should be automated, is lagging behind right now too.

That might be on ePack side. I had a couple delayed a week ago and when I clicked on the transfer link on the ePack site it was showing a post-dated time. It was like a 4-5 hour delay.

However, yesterday I transferred 5 cards from the Halo Legacy set and they arrived on COMC right away. It must be an intermittent glitch.

10 days later and there are still nearly 134,000 cards ahead of my order. In the meantime, the orders from 11/26 and 12/1 have decreased 20,000+ each. At this point I may receive my 2 later orders before the one I requested first. They are certainly not picking bulk orders in order of request. That is saying nothing about the fact that the newer orders have had only that few cards shipped.

I know this has a 0% chance of happening, but it's times like these where COMC needs to make a statement to address what is happening exactly in the shipping department and how they plan to play catchup. That's what a good business who has any semblance of care for their customers would do (which COMC isn't and doesn't care about their customers)

What percentage of the 45M inventory is absolute junk that nobody would buy, even for a penny?

My last COMC eBay purchase was on Thanksgiving. It shipped Monday. eBay is the priority because it has to be. I wouldn’t worry too much until those eBay shipping times slip like they did a few years ago.

The 11/4 order still has 133,687 cards ahead of it, same as it was Friday. The other 2 orders each went down 4-5k each...

Even if 50% of the inventory was pure trash, that would still be less than 1% of useful inventory. There's no mad rush to clear out accounts though I'm sure there's a handful of folks that are moving away from COMC, yet likely replaced with newbies.

Their shipping is what it is. Been sluggish for years aside from a brief period. No rush on my end since I have no shortage other stuff I can deal with while I wait. Time is money however and my purchases on the site slowed more dramatically than normal after the BF event.
