I, personally, passed on this myself, I did use my MC allotment of one yesterday to get a box for my buddy…

I’m gonna be really disappointed if I can’t get more than one box of Bowman Heritage though…

this is the first topps.com drop I can ever remember where the product page wasn't at least visible to any of us for at least a short amount of time

Yeah I think I am going to lunch. Seems like a manual user will need a miracle if it would happen to go live again. I just won't see how they would have sold all the boxes already. What was the order max today??

No war, I paid for accounts like everybody else did. Not sure how else I was supposed to get them.

Where Topps really does excel is in continuing to surprise people and show things that people haven't seen before, usually in a non-positive light (here), but sometimes positive, too (Rookie Cup).

Same thinking. I just don't see how all of these were sold to MC and today online (regardless of how many bots got). Lots had to have gone to the big 3 and others.

Every year there has been plenty of opportunity to get an MC account. I have more than one as well. There are no rules against it, you snooze you lose just like me on the Bowman Draft drop today.

Pretty much anybody that wants one should have one by now. If you pay attention to these threads, it was obvious when they would go on sale. It was known a few days before they sold them and it was posted again once they were live. I was able to purchase 3 accounts this year without any issues. They sat in stock for a good bit after I got the 3 I wanted also.

cracking down on people that pay and follow the rules instead of people that don't, e.g. bot use, seems like a waste of resources and very little value added/ROI.

But the reality is Topps like and wants the bots. It guarantees sellouts, and with the bots comes social media hype, which boosts awareness while creating concentrated holdings of product.

True yes. Ample time for getting the accounts especially in the 1st and 2nd years.

If a vast majority of the public sale is going to bots, they should just allocate 20/account for MC.

Yes, it's going to sell out regardless. But if non-MC members without a bot have zero shot, give them to members.

That's fair. I'd support a one account per person/household rule regardless to get the numbers down.
