Unless it becomes a safety issue or it costs them money (likely due to a safety issue) why would the fact that a few employees are annoyed result in the company abandoning card sales? Target didn't stop selling cards in store because the employees were annoyed, they did it because it became a liability. Unless that happens, I don't see why a company would stop selling something that is driving people to the store, who otherwise would never come in. Unless I'm missing something.

Nope and most of the stores have them so you can look behind the counter and see for yourself which makes it easier.

B&N quickly pivoting to putting them behind the counter, putting limits on them has helped them compared to Targets.

Nah, they're [the factory sets] are typically available before the All-Star game. I've always just grabbed a set off the shelf during a Target run. Did that for a bunch of years (in the Before Times, obviously).

Pulled out of a Prizm Draft FOTL at my store today. Numbered to /149 though. I’m guessing you wouldn’t find these in retail though.

No, but I was actually expecting to see series 2 in store just because they print a lot , want to sell it , and people don’t pull guns on each other over it

I would have a hard time believing they would do it this soon since it's hasn't been even two months since they stopped selling in the store.

Sure they are hoping things will calm down a bit, but really don't think that is going to happen anytime soon.

And if they did decide to start reselling in the store, it would be only a matter of time before word got around and things were as crazy as they were before.

I agree. And I hope it’s not true, I prefer online. But lots of chatter that this is why Prizm megas/gravity haven’t dropped online. Saving for in store.

Some of this doesn’t make sense as before when they sold on store they still had drops and sold online as well. They wouldn’t stop selling online altogether.

there was at least 1 report of nfl contenders in store last week. i chalked it up to the store taking a return (i know they don’t take returns). the alternative would have been excell shipping them the product and we should have seen a lot more than 1 report in that case.

I believe megas are just late, the same way hoops premium hangers ran late.

Yea the couple stores around here have said not anytime soon for anything in store and that was the same answer at 3 different stores saying this is from uptop and that they are working on making the online experience better thats why nothing has dropped. take it for what its worth

Just ran into the vendor in store. Only Pokemon, soccer, hockey still.
