Is that a partial C8 auto on a 2018 card? I'm not a Sho expert, is this normal?

You don't have to have the best collection to have a monster one.

The C-8 has always been nestled in his full auto. Not always easy to see, but it’s in there.

Man, I'm hoping he signs (or already signed) my 50/50 set auto relic redemption in his old (pre-2025) sig, but I have a feeling I might get it with his "new" sig. =/

I was trying to hold out for another 2018 Shohei auto but ended up picking up a C-8 auto for the mean time. Sold a nice RC non-auto in the 4 figures and that got me looking at more Sho autos. Felt it was too good to pass up and at the end of the day my Ohtani Auto collection grew by one so I'm a happy camper. Will share when it comes in.
Less than a week away from "Opening Day"!!

Always buying the first signature '18-20. I'll pass on the later ones myself, but not poo pooing on other's cards at all.

Similar situation to Mahomes where the first couple years of autos are way better than the later ones.

2018 Bowman’s Best auto PSA 10 (my card)

For

2018 Topps Update clear /10 BGS 8.5 with subgrades of 10,10,10,7.5

I don’t really know the value of the clear as they never sell.

Is this a trade I should make? The BB is the only Ohtani auto I have

I don't know the values of either card. I don't even have a big Ohtani PC.

With that said, I wouldn't make the trade but I don't particularly care for 2018 Topps Update Ohtani (I'm a S2/700 person).
