Thank you King George Sheriff's Office last night.

I pulled out of my son's school after practice and was driving 10 miles over the speed limit on a one lane each way road with limited passing opportunities. When I pulled out, no one was coming behind me. A little ways down the road, I had a box van come up on my but so fast and so close, I thought he was going to hit me. He kept waving over the center lane and had his high beams on shining in my mirror. If I slammed on my breaks for any reason, dude would have been a part of our back seat.

Eventually I caught up to some vehicles in front of me and had to slow down. I thought his aggressive behaviour would stop because of that, but it did not. Dude was still on my bumber and crossing over the center lane. Each opportunity prior to reaching the other cars, he couldn't pass because of cars coming the other way.

I told my Son that if he turned at our turn and kept on my rear, I was calling the police. We went through the light at 218 and he was still weaving and on my butt. We hit a curve and when I looked back, I could see the red and blue lights of King George's finest behind him and he slowly backed off and disappeared from my rearview mirror. The sheriff must have been sitting at the light at 218 waiting to turn on our road and saw his driving behavior.

I hope he got an expensive ticket.

Sounds pretty dangerous. No reason to drive that reckless on a one lane road at night.

Maybe he had to pass a field sobriety test.

I may go slightly over the speed limit when I drive, but I rarely tailgate. The only time I do is when idjits wait until the last moment to merge into interstate traffic. Just a pet peeve of mine. Tailgating is a sure way to rear end someone. I need to keep my car as long as possible as I cannot afford another one.

Limestone University is closing. 179 year old college gone due to mismanagement at the top levels. Hope they are happy.

Talked with my former neighbor today. She sold her house 2 years ago and the new owner has been renting it out. 2 separate groups. Will be interesting to see if a third comes in this year. I think its over priced for the size and it only has 1 bathroom. It's really meant for a retired couple, not a family. She wants to buy the house back from him. We are the best neighbors she has ever had.

You must be all old fuddy duddy if you think driving 10 MPH over the speed limit is wreckless. Man, I hope you are tucked safe in bed when glen drives around your way.

I don't believe I was still going 10 over when the cop took him out since I had caught up with other cars and you have to take that curve slow since it has a light around the corner.

You might want to say your prayers and goodbyes now. I actually had a good talk with my boss this afternoon including telling her how most employees on my hardware team are looking for other jobs and I also had to send an e-mail out to our helpdesk and she replied it was a good e-mail.

I'm sure tomorrow, she'll be back to being mad about something.
