Yeah definitely think that is correct for Mahomes. We have no way of knowing, but I wonder if it's possible that different players have different print runs.

After not buying a Mahomes in almost 1.5 years thereabouts, I think I'm ready to jump back in.

I've been chasing Soto and Ichiro for quite a bit but with Mahomes prices being so low...how can I not?

It's time to...INVEST! lol

There is zero chance that a Contenders gets crossed with any minimum grade given how many of those are trimmed.

If you believe in him long-term, this is a perfect time to reenter the market. From now until mid-Aug/early Sept. will be good buying times.

Just saw a PSA 10 contenders ending at Goldin tonight will be interesting to see where it ends. Haven’t been many if any 10s for sale at all since before the big loss

I don’t see it doing too well. Too many concerns of trimming on that card in a PSA 10 holder. Anyone bidding needs to do their due diligence.

Maybe but it is the second best auto to own. The trimming of this card was exposed a couple years ago and as of last year they were still hitting all time highs before the epic playoff loss. That performance is impacting his prices on everything, way bigger impact than the trimming has had.

I didn’t mean it just because trimming. Was meaning his market isn’t good and there are better options with less worry to spend that much money.

His market is broken, $36k with BP for a PSA 10 tendies

yeah you may be right about his market at this point. For that money prob better off spending 10k or so less and getting a Brady Sp authentic PSA 9.

I guess the question is where does his stuff go from here? Does it keep going down into the preseason? I know alot depends on his performance next year but it is truely buy time now if your a believer or does it continue to fall ?

No reason to buy now IMO. Hasn’t even been that much volume to hit the market the past few months. I expect we’ll be seeing a flood come August-October. Just like last year. That will be the time to start buying again.

The way the market is, I see his stuff staying flat into the season, then dipping further when its the November/December slowdown which seems to happen almost regardless of how a team plays…so if timing is the question, I think it’s worth waiting vs not

I had my finger on the trigger of this card ready to try and win it, but I just couldn't do it with the bad auto.

That same card is a BGS 9.5/ 9 Auto, and I can't justify dropping $40k on it.

Yeah it’s almost better to get this card in a BGS gem holder with a 10 auto grade unless you can find a PSA with a clean bold auto.
