Stress is a helluva drug. A lot of folks here are taking a similar prescription.

I’m not sure if this is a fair response, but it’s absolutely hilarious.

There is clearly no listening going on from your end. I posted two direct quotes that summarize how BLM the slogan and it's meaning has been interpreted by a large percentage of the U.S. population. I posted how it is very possible to be in support with some of the message and protests while being against violence, and the defunding of the police but you both completely sidestepped that in favor of doubling down on the rhetoric that the organization is sewing discord in the country. I heard you the first few times.

If neither of you can actually contend that black people (and other ethnic minorities in the U.S.) have had lifelong struggles for social justice and that there is a movement to shed light on this issue, I really don't think there's a dialogue to be had here. Mike, feel free to post quotes from BLM if you feel like doing so. I'll gladly read them.

Indeed
I said that maybe my perception is wrong and that the BLM movement has helped Americans view black people more positively. I don't because their actions don't match their words. You seem to view the movement positively, but I haven't heard anyone that agrees with you.

Rewarding BLM with accolades and dump trucks of cash after the rioting and violence, is like taking your child out for ice cream and buying them a new bike after they smash all their toys and throw a rock through your big screen TV.

How can it possibly be good that we are rewarding anti-social, destructive behavior?

Okay so whats the difference of me supporting Trump because I like most his policies but I think he's a POS and you supporting BLM because the intention is good but a lot of people in management are POS.

The difference is Trump is the President and is undermining the rule of law by his corrupt, self-interest with support from his Republican enablers.

Stress is definitely bad for your health. But has to be even worse when you factor in entitlement and ignorance.

And the other consist of some anarchist. Good to know where your priorities are. I hold Trump to the same standard as everyone else. That means regardless if you are the POTUS or a baker your one responsibility in life is to be a decent human. They both fail horribly.

The idea that black lives matter should be a given.

Every person's response so far that says they support BLM. It's actually amazing to me. I can't tell if the left actually don't know who their management consist of or it's an easy deflection. Don't feel bad, the last three lefties had the same response as you.

I’m old enough to remember when Fox said Obama using selfie stickTm was “undignified” and accused him of “demeaning the office”

Or people were genuinely outraged by video of 4 cops pinning down a black man to the pavement with one kneeling on his neck until he died.

Of course, it is a stupid slogan.

Mad enough to burn down a city.

or how about when they went after Obama for using a bike helmet when he was riding a bike and juxtaposing that against a shirtless Putin with an an automatic weapon.

I still have not heard a definition of diversity yet. The left thinks they own this word, and that is the problem. It means more than skin color, it means diversity of thought, which means people have a diversity of values. This is the way the world works. Is that 'ape s*** crazy'? I don't think so.
