Triple double to knock off the #1 seed as a 5.

Luka. Is. Him.

True true. Listened to a pod this morning where someone said the Mavs always look like they know what they are doing each possession with Luka and Kyrie while OKC is guessing out there and the possession ends on either an SGA 1v1 shot or a guy they don't want shooting a 3.

Kyrie telling the studio panel 'I'm always praying for you guys.'

Kyrie, Lively, Jones were huge in the 2nd half, and only 5 2nd half TOs

That's really the main issue. OKC doesn't have a dependable 2nd guy that can really create their own offense. JDub can show flashes, and Chet simply lacks the strength. Other than that, it's just a roster filled with perimeter spot up shooters.

The problem they have going forward, is who's the odd man out if they want to upgrade? I'm thinking they'd definitely be willing to ditch dort if the possibility of bringing PG13 back presented itself. PGiddy's days are numbered.

Man Shai is impressive though. And defying the analytic mob saying no to the mid range.

He was brilliant and almost pulled it off.

If Chet can become a little more of an enforcer and Jalen doesn't disappear for stretches this team will be nice for a long while.

Dort made life tough for Luka, not too sure Denver or Minny have a guy that can give him as much trouble.

Kyrie lit the Warriors up. It wasn't that hard on him.

What I loved about that win was how it wasn't just Kyrie and Luka, it was a team effort. Jones hit huge shots, PJ hit huge shots, Lively was a beast, and Kyrie and Luka did what superstars need to do when it's all on the line. Kyrie was finally aggressive in the 2nd half. They didn't pack it in and quit knowing they had another game in their pocket. Just an amazing team win. Not bad for a "loser" like Luka huh?

Also kudos to OKC, they are a hell of a team and it's just the beginning for them. SGA is an absolute STUD. Dude is amazing. When that game got up to 5 with a minute or so left, he just calmly came down and hit a 3 right away to bring it back down to 2. What a series. Can't wait to see who they play next round

I'd say Chet kind of shrunk for parts of this series. Was much better tonight. Needs to bulk but has all the talent to be their #3 scorer and #1 blk/rebounder

You’re in the wrong place for that. Simply stating the obvious sometimes is met with extreme vitriol.

Incredible season by the Thunder. The youth and inexperience caught up with them.

Congrats to the Mavs for an awesome series. Call me crazy but PJ Washington turned their season around

People hate on Kidd a lot but heÂ’s really done a great job maximizing this team. HeÂ’s turned average role players into elite ones (DJJ, PJÂ…)

DJJ was someone who got a career revival at the Bulls. Always thought he'll be a good role player in the right role, only thing he needed to become a great one was a decent 3 point shot.

I don't get the hate on the Thunder. PJ Washington became the best shooter in the league and they lost a close series. They'll come back way stronger next year.

SGA returns start today? Edwards start tomorrow?

As I said earlier this year more than once, the OKC GM made a huge mistake not upgrading his lineup by the deadline. Tons of picks and cap space, and he thought this team was good enough with Josh Giddey/Isaiah Joe starting in the playoffs. Well, Giddey got benched and anyone who's seen Joe play knows he can't be the starter on a Finals team.

You don't hoard assets just to hoard them. Cap space doesn't hang banners. They needed more solid veterans to help the young guys and then maybe they don't blow a huge lead last night.

Tonight's games should be interesting, we'll see if the Wolves run into the 'Scott Foster special!'

I got more faith in the Pacers v the injured Knicks, that's for sure. But I don't hate it. But only seeing +507 among my books now.
