Level: Economy No Subgrades
Number cards: 27
Received BGS: 12/27
Grades:

I feel 25 cards from this order have a strong chance to pristine so I decided to send them the cheap route with no subgrades.

Level: Priority (Full Swing Special)
Number of Cards: 1
Received BGS: 3/21
Grades:

Absolute glass card, should grade well.

Dropped off a Priority "Full Swing" order at the Chicago show this past weekend. We'll see how long it takes for them to check it in back in Texas.

If Rev dropped off in Dallas and it took about 5 days after the show for them to pop. I'm hoping the same here.

Recently did a 3-card Full Swing shipment; grades popped on Day 2 after the shipment reached them.

BGS got back to me and said that it could take a week or more after the last day of a show before an order could get checked in. looks like dropping it off at a show will actually take longer than if i just sent it in the mail. noted for next time.

yeah, I just did something similar, cuz I figured the ticket to the show would cost about the same as shipping my cards to CSG. If I had mailed them last friday, it would have gotten there by now. Good to know that it is similar for BGS for the future

Yea I hadn't submitted to them in 2 years but so far the level of responsiveness has been awesome.

My BAS order (was shipped in same box as BGS submission) was also just entered.

Sitting on a BGS econ received 1/3, still at invoicing. Was beginning to wonder.

I'm sad to say that this was my last try with BGS. My submission was delivered by the post office in late December and was just entered in the system on 3/3/23. As of today, it's in "Active (Not Shipped)".

I really don't care how long it takes, and I only ask that they keep us informed of production delays. My guess is that most feel the same way. How is that too much to ask for? How about trying to do more than the absolute minimum BGS?

It makes me sad that the Beckett brand no longer carries any weight in the hobby with younger collectors. My kids have zero interest in "old man" slabs. I fear that BGS is going to continue the slide into the 4th or even 5th place grader.

They are checking orders in withing 1 day.
They have lowered prices.
The faster, most expensive services are flying through.
The slower, economy services are a few days past their 'estimated' timelines.

Sounds exactly like what PSA is doing these days. Literally its exactly the same.

They have the worst customer service.
They have the worst communication.
They have the worst submission process.
They have no pizzah tracker.
Slabs are always returned scuffed up.
Economy/value is 3X slower.

the customer service thing is so perplexing to me. Whenever i contact them, i get a personal call from my rep shortly after.

Im a die hard psa guy. The scuffed slabs is true, there quality control is by far worst. Submission process doesnt deter me like it once did. They are moving quickly now and cheaply. Value is true, but they have the black label. if you can master getting those are a decent clip (totally dependent on the type of cards you target) then it is far and away more worth it to send to bgs.

I'll take BGS and the rep's (who responds to my calls/emails) over PSA's call in number at 7am and waiting for a call back.

PSA's online submission form is easy but I don't mind sending in hand written BGS forms.

PSA tracker is cool, but it doesn't make anything any faster.

I've received marked up slabs from both companies. Just had a nearly 5 figure card returned from PSA with crumbs in it, never had anything like that with Beckett.

The wait times are what they are. They're both slow at the cheap levels.

I guess you wanted to go 28/28 for Gem Mint cards if you are complaining about your results
