It is a tough call to be honest. I had to sell a Contenders BGS 9 to pay for my SB trip, which I ended up getting $7,500 for. I thought there was little room for it to go up at that point, and man was I wrong.

I would if there was one for sale. Havent seen any for that price in the past few months. You can barely get an 8 showcase #/2000 for $1000

The one I bought is the first showcase #40/250, like the number of it as well. I have that one in a PSA 8 already. Ive been looking for the parallel of that one for awhile now

I would have it end the following Saturday night after the super bowl if the patriots win. Or have a crazy price OBO during the super bowl someone drunk and excited for the 6th ring may pull the trigger

What do people here think are his top 10 rookies? Like some on this board, I think his cards IN A PATS UNIFORM bring a little bit of a premium (though not always)

4. bowman chrome
5. UD graded
6. Momentum
7. Certified
8. Showcase
9. Press Pass (auto)
10. Pros and prospects/rookies and stars/regular bowman


I think my order from 1-5 is good, but after that I have no idea.


Interested to hear what others think, especially the big collectors: Jason, bassplaya, rogergodahell, etc.... What do you think is undervalued?

I would put Leaf Limited in there, no question and bump up Showcase above Certified. One card that rarely pops up and is tough in top grade, is the Revolution. I personally put that above Pros and Prospects. I also really like Donruss, R & S and EX, but, you are right, it is murky after the top 5.

Yes, forgot about limited/EX/donruss. So many rare tough cards. I should have had a top 15.

Yeah, Leaf Limited has to be in there. either spot 4 or 5, IMO.
Highly condition sensitive, and only /350 for the regular version puts it as one of the rarest regular issues that one can obtain.
LL is very underrated and undervalued IMO.

Yep, that is so rare, I agree with the Beckett list that has it at #4. And Revolution is extremely prone to chipping and only has 350 copies.

Back in '04, I was offered a SPx Spectrum parallel #'d/25 in PSA 10 for the then astronomical $1500. Turned it down. I don't think I've ever seen another one offered up for sale since. I would think it belongs on the list, but it may be so rare, it's disqualified.

I have an unopened box of limited that I've thought of busting, but his rookies are so hard to pull, I think I'd be better off just selling it and buying something else.

Actually thinking about selling all my unopened 2000 boxes and buying his singles.

I would do the same, sell them and get as many Brady RCs as possible.

I would add the revolution in there somewhere. Great card! College uni yeah but such a nice looking card and there's a small quantity of them.

There is an 02' Fleer Platinum Patch listed for $7K+. Heck I just listed the Honors at the lowest BIN Patch price listed to see what offers roll in.

6-10 could be rearranged but I like my top 5. Fleer Showcase /2000 is an honorable mention just due to the print run.
