i actually do work from home. but i'm tucked away in the basement office with no windows.



what i was saying was- if somebody planted all this stuff at night when people were sleeping, seems like it would be pretty easy to do.

Pretty easy to rape, murder, and burn someone on a property that size too.

i just have the hardest time thinking somebody would be that stupid to not use a machine they know how to use to get rid of the vehicle immediately. If the guy went through the steps to burn the body to hide that evidence, they definitely would have crushed that vehicle into a cube immediately after.

Well, rational people don't kidnap rape and murder so..... It's the same as sports, Monday night quarterbacking.

I haven't had a chance to watch the whole series yet but several things stands out to me from what I know already.

The police force and DA were both under intense scrutiny yet they still badly mishandled another case. It makes me wonder how many other cases they treated this poorly and let criminals continue to victimize their community. I would be appalled if I lived there. I wouldn't feel safe at all.

I'm gonna say it's not the same as monday night quarterbacking, the same as a football game is not solving a murder, or committing one for that matter.

I was referring to how we can sit here and say the murderer should have done this and that after the fact.

Still different. Quarterbacks have at most 2-3 minutes, and often only a few seconds, to evaluate complex situations and decide from many different actions. Murderers have days, weeks, possibly months and years to plan out their crimes. It is much less likely under those conditions to make such poor decisions.

What makes you think that the Edwards guy could have done it is that damn key. That key was put in that house later. The bones being "blown up", the car being planted and so badly hidden, all parts of that seem to be obvious they were meant to be found, they weren't hidden at all. Add to the fact that he was living in the same state only a mile away at the time, just pure craziness.

IMO this points even more to the planting of evidence theory. Especially with the pic of her with the key chain she had with multiple keys on it. The spare key was planted after the fact. Couple that with Edwards living an hour away and everything falling right into his killing style and pattern makes it even more of a probability.

Just finished watching this. And have read thru the entire thread. I'm shocked after watching this there are people here who think he is guilty. I look at the lawyers he had. Two of the best I've ever seen. This started at the top imo after he was let out of prison the first time. The county didn't have 36 million. How do you get out of paying that you may ask. I think either the police killed the girl or they found the vehicle with her in the trunk. I think they burned her and thru her ashes in the fire. This was corruption. Steven Avery in my opinion should be a free man.

You do realize this is a one sides program. Its not even a documentary. The people who did Making a murder left out almost half the information. They even said that they couldn't put "all" the information in. I guess all you have to do is put something on TV and all the mindless people of the world will believe it. He's guilty as sin.

Hey guess what..one sided doesn't mean false. Back then it was all one sided on the news and now we're getting the other side. I am so glad you know he's guilty..there was idiots like you that said he's guilty as sin when he was wrongfully accused last time so it doesn't mean much. People are wrongfully accused everyday but I am sure I'm your eyes they are guilty as sin.

This is the new generation, put it on TV it must be real. Maybe you should read more into this than what you just saw on netflix. Read what Dan O'donnell has to say about the case. He was a reporter who was present for the whole trial. I even posted a segment he did for each episode called "Rebutting a Murderer". The people who did this series did a very good job on it, minus 50% of the actual material.

Like I said, the series was very well done but its not a documentary as it covers only 1 side of the story. As always there are 2 sides and this only presented 1 side.

None of us are asking for a pardon, asking for a fair trial..I can and have read everything and watched everything unfold live back then as I used to pass the Halbach home twice a day when I lived in Hilbert. I've read all the "incriminating" evidence and none of it screams guilty like the other evidence screams corrupt. So which Manitowoc official are you related to?

dude could be guilty. however, we've seen corrupt officials ruin a case before (OJ). Avery should have a re-trial at least, as there were certainly some fishy and mishandled aspects of the investigation.

shoot, anything the Manitowac crew "discovered" should have been immediately thrown out and made inadmissible because of their conflict of interest.
