Skenes to the big leagues

Just sold an HTA choice SGC 10 auto for 934 and the previous high, 2 days prior, was a PSA 10 for 850. It's a case study on a lot of things, but crazy to see an SGC 10 set the new comp over a PSA 10. I wanted the card for my PC, but high prices are climbing so high and fast that I figure I can pick one up in the off season. Crazy times.

Yeah, anything of his is moving like hot cakes right now. Selling any base i have or even inserts immediately in BIN. Pulled a 24 color chrome of his out of my one hobby of bowman, not a 1st but a nice looking card i'll probably hold onto to see where he goes.

Wouldn't really shock me. These guys are asked to sign a ton of cards and there's no real control around it. Maybe it was different when it was only a few hundred bowman chrome cards 20 years ago, but now its thousands upon thousands.

He looked electric in that first inning striking out the side. Will be interesting to see if he can avoid regular deep counts and walks. That was his main issue in his first start.

Lol of course as soon as I mentioned he needs to avoid deep counts, he goes 3-2 to the very next two batters and throws a ton of pitches to strike both out.
