How long are you all in the gym for? I am there for an hour with no phone and no music. Just do my business and leave. There arePeople in there that did two exercises in that hour because they are constantly texting, looking in the mirror, taking video, yapping, etc.

Usually 60-90 minutes depending on how much cardio I want to do and whether or not it’s leg day.

If I’m doing arms and no cardio—it might be as quick as 45 minutes.

Also, I’ve gotta have some music or else I start tuning into other people’s conversations and I hate that. I’ve got to be in my own reality when I’m lifting—unless I’ve got a friend and we’re spotting each other. But those sessions are rare:

No music? That's crazy town

I'm usually 60-75 minutes depending on the day

I try to keep it to 45 minutes. If I can only work out 3 to 4 days a week, I will go up to an hour.

Taking it easy right now. Tweaked my groin muscle and I am in a golf league right now. I could barely swing a club last week and played horribly.

Today I was reminded of just how important the quality of food is.

I went a little overboard with the Reese's Peanut Butter Puff cereal this weekend instead of getting my carbs from my usual black beans, peas, and carrots. The gym was absolutely brutal today—all of my lifts went down and I just didn't have it in the tank to finish strong like I usually do.

Junk food = junk lifts.

I have people ask me all the time what I was eating to lose weight and get in shape, when I tell them all the stuff I quit eating they say "Oh I can't do that". I try to explain that weight loss is diet more than anything. You can't outwork a bad diet. 1 guy I work with eats terrible foods all day long, drink soft drinks like water. He asked me what he can do to lose weight because at 5'8, he's pushing 320 lbs. I told him step 1 is changing his diet. He said he will just walk more.

I had hernia surgery in 2014. Definitely tweaked something all up in there today.

If anyone has any routines that have helped them with knee pain, please pass them on. I’m feeling like a muscle imbalance plus a lack of stretching is hindering my right knee.

Might want to find a fountain of youth, because it will only get worse.

Stretching your quads can really help knee pain. If you have tight quads, this can cause serious stress on the tendons. Stretching hips and your IT band also may cause some relief. If stretching doesn't help, you might have arthritis or another type of injury that may need rest to heal.

What's even worse are spine surgeries. Hernia is a walk in the park.

I’d counter and say some of my best lift days came after some junk food binging.
