You use a list that includes Sammy Sosa as evidence and you expect to be taken seriously? Yes, Bonds' steroid years were statistically impressive, and outmatched by anyone (juiced or not), that was his reason for juicing, my point was that Trout's numbers would possibly match Bonds' if he were also on the juice. You seem to be missing the point.

This is a fruitless exercise, as there's no changing anyone's minds about this stuff, but I'll bite, as facts are always helpful in these situations:

Bonds: 20.69
Trout: 18.25

And before you ask...

WAR:
Bonds: 73.9
Trout: 74.1 (with only a 1.8 in the 60 game 2020 season)

Pre-Juice Bonds seems pretty similar to Trout. He was a HOFer before the juice, and that's the real shame of the whole thing.

Probably not as well because, you know, he won’t be on the juice. Bonds’ late season stats are steroid driven.

Again, I’m not saying Bonds, pre steroids, wasn’t great, he was, but his career stats are skewed because he juiced up in the second half of his career. This is simply a fact. Whether he knew he was juicing or not, doesn’t change the argument.
