I heard saha T is going to trade the Charizard and a kevin durant ref chrome psa 10 card for an Alpha Black lotus and some BTC. Then next step is a 52 mantle.

So many people in this thread give off serious pre-cook Jesse Pinkman vibes.

Spanking your children and beating them are two different things. Don't know why you're obsessed with hyperbole.

Haha. I think you need a helmet, like half the country . Who said anything about beating? "You people" are nuts.

Its not just kids collecting pokemon cards. This comment reminds me of when i tell my college friends that i collect cards and there first response before i explain is generally "i thought that was for kids". There are tons of adults that collect pokemon cards just like there are tons of adults who collect sports cards. Dont kid yourself.

Spanking has been proven through a multitude of studies from reputable sources to not be an effective form of behavior modification as has most other types of negative reinforcment and corporal punishment but its far from child abuse.

Child abuse is defined as when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child.

Spanking a child has not been proven to cause any of the above when administered appropirately. Just because it is not an effective from of parenting doesnt make ot child abuse.

3 posts. Nice. Who did you used to be though? You didn't reply before.

I know right. Imagine actually being seriously wealthy and acting like this? Or maybe you just believe you're special. Because, you know, Mommy and Daddy.

I don't think there's any coming back from comments like this. Get a grip child. Would you say any of this to these people in person? I seriously doubt it.

Samesys.

I heard he started with a 93 Jordan Skybox Bass and traded up all the way to a Bron Exquisite RPA.

This thread is like a daytime soap opera.

I read the first page and the last page - we went from a crossover card trade to spanking children?

Is it worth reading the meat? Something tells me no.

Lord have mercy

though i'm not big on the whole IG, Youtube promotion stuff, just not my era i guess (im 31 going on 81 haha). I do admire this Sasha kids hustle, he seems very sharp and knows the flip game quite well seemingly, not sure why the hate for him? The only thing is, i'm not sure why he's so willing to show off all these cash deals on video, just doesn't seem to be super wise, but to each their own.

Right? I also don't really care about social media status and all that but there are always those guys who hate on people who are more successful than they are.

dude seriously. I for one actually appreciate having a regular day job, i just like being part of the work force and all that, but if i could make 100k or whatever in one fell swoop and make my life/financial situation easier, i totally would, you'd have to be lying/jelous/or frankly a moron not to. I hate the term "haters" because it seems very millennial, but i can't think of a better term than that for how they talk about this kid. Jealousy is strong with many.

Holy... 7 more pages to read through after I last checked.

Im not sure why the thread shifted so many diff ways... it was a simple thread that got derailed 6 times.

Sasha is about making money... first and foremost... hes doing it with something he also has a passion and interest for... more power to him!

He's creating a brand for himself, having pages of threads about his deal, news of this will travel through every social media platform creating more buzz... call me dumb but i think that adds value?

Trolls always going to troll and throw shade on someone bc hes successful in a different way that people dont agree with. Nothing new.

Repost to get back to the topic at hand. Let's have a fresh start today, boys and girls.

a) The Pokemon market slows - not crash, just slows down a bit.

b) If a) doesn't happen, Pokemon will need to outpace sports cards in growth. It could happen, but ask yourself this question - which is more likely to "slow," the Pokemon market or the high-end basketball market?

c) What is Sasha's intention with the card? Is it to use as trade bait for something with more potential (most likely) and get the deal done quickly, or is it to sell and cash out a portion of his profits?

Honestly, the trade could go either way in my eyes. COVID is a few months away from "ending" and people will go back to their lives. Sports are a known commodity in our culture, the question is if Sasha is not able to unload it quickly and Pokemon prices pause, that $100k in cash looms large. If he threw in another card valued at $100k it would be another story, but handing over $100k cash comes with a lot of financial implications.

We have to assume Sasha isn't holding the chard for any extended period of time, he probably already has a buyer lined up and is going to sell asap; no way he's tying up 400k of capital in a single card.

That said - his motivation is money and from his perspective he clearly won the trade. Some of you guys need to take your "Collector" hat off and look at this transaction from a business perspective. Those of you saying he did this to hedge, sure that's possible if he had any intention to hold this card longer than a month but he flips everything so I just don't see that happening.

Zero chance he is holding onto that card for any serious length of time.

That being said that is an awesome trade for both I think and I am very entertained by watching his videos on Youtube especially because card shows haven't been around in almost a year. Plus I feel like he is actually showing what it's really like trying to deal at shows and the other part of dealing online. I wish both parties the best of luck and hope he keeps creating content.

I never participated in a study as a kid, but I can assure you that when the old man came up stairs for "corporal punishment" time, it was effective and certainly modified my behavior.

100% agree. Watch 2-3 of his videos and you will quickly understand what he does. It's been interesting to watch him over the past year and where he started (basically at zero). Id put a bet down that we see a video within the next month of him moving the Chard.
