This is why I’ve grown to despise the way the hobby has gone. It’s one game in a long season. It was a bad game no doubt but remember he missed some time with his surgery during preseason. People freaking out over one game are crazy.

Burrow turned the ball over more in one game than Rodgers did the entire 2021 season. With today’s pricing, these guys have to win MVP and SB or it’s bust.

If the Bengals had won that game, I would've seen dozens of guys pumping their Burrows cards on IG. Ive not seen a single Burrows cards posted today! If you want to be jerked off when your investment plays well, you have to take the kick in the nuts every time they don't. In today's "investment" hobby, every game is truly life and death due to the money being spent.

"life and death"???!??!? LOL I literally spit out coffee from laughing. If someone is putting that much into sports cards where one game performance by a player could impact one's "investment" that much, I think he/she should seek some help.

On other note, Burrow will be fine.

He’ll be fine, despite of the uncharacteristic amount of turnovers, he still rallied the team back within a field goal range to win the game. What are the odds McPherson misses a FG? That boy is automatic yet the special teams botched it …twice…in clutch situations.

Bengals have a new front line too that didn’t play in the preseason and Joe being sacked 7 times showed their lack of cohesion (pass block win rate improved in the second half though, so that’s promising).

But we have to be honest. Losing to a divisional opponent is going to haunt them and they were supposed to win these games before the Bye week.
Absolutely no one expects them to go back to the SB but on an individual level, Burrow is projected to have the best season of his NFL career. NO ONE saw that type of game from him ever especially after boasting the Bengals have better offense this season during training camp.

You may have taken it a little too literal, but there's guys sweating today. They live by each game. Most of these "investors" are only looking to hold a couple of months at best. When you only have 8-10-12 weeks, every single game counts for them. It's truly sad, but it's the way these guys operate. Sure Burrow will be fine, but fine isn't going to cut it for the investors. In a down market and down economy, they need white hot right now. Not 5 turnovers and "fine" on opening weekend.

Sounds rough.

Is this really the best option for them to make more $ vs. just ol' fashioned betting?

Burrow always been garbage as most qbs in league are. When did hobby get crazy with all qbs? Don’t they know history of nfl qbs and bust. Whose going to be bag holding ? Not me sold out in 2021

Just wanted to give heads up sell while you can. Money leaving the hobby with over priced hobby boxes and America inflation.

Gl boys hope you all become millionaires

Man some of the takes because of 1 bad game that they still almost won if not for a blocked EP. Burrow will be fine, the Bengals will be fine. The guy didn't play or practice for basically the entire preseason and training camp due to an emergency appendectomy. It takes time for the new line to adjust to playing with a new QB. It didn't help, that Higgins went out early with a concussion either. Pump your breaks a little people.

I intended the first 2-3 weeks for most teams being pretty sloppy because it is essentially the starters preseason. A vast majority of teams didn't play a single starter at all during the regular preseason. Other than the Bills, Chiefs, and maybe the Eagles I think every team was really sloppy this week.

Does everybody not see how Burrow holds the ball for too long?

The line isn't great, but he's a statue back there not knowing how to get rid of the ball quickly.

Not sure what is a bigger factor.

But it’s bad

Yes I do agree with that. It’s like he’s overthinking every play. He should just relax and fire it off. Chase and those WRs are going to run their routes.
I also believe his overthinking is what leads to his picks.

I was saying after they lost the SB, that was the bengals/burrows one shot and they blew it. They are NOT a good team and burrow is highly overrated as a QB. They lost a game last week they shoukd have and needed to win and are gonna lose today. Maybe JB can be good on a good team, but that's not the Bengals.

Talk about a knee jerk reaction.

Well they are now 0-2 so.....
And just for the record, I don't own a single Burrow card. My football card collection consists of a 89 TT Deion PSA 10.

When you lose to Mitch Tribusky and Cooper Rush to start the season there is no knee jerk reaction.

Burrow has been terrible.

Burrow Investors are 0-2 on the season. A few more losses by the Bungles and the season will be lost for the investors. So will be any dreams of profits in 2022. They'll have to wait until August '23.

A few more losses and they go 12-5.

I get most young QB hate but yours on burrow is weird. Hard to not root for the guy.

It’s not just about Burrow, it’s literally every post he makes.

Another terrible take lol. Today flagworthy and a game I figured they’d roll in but, no preseason, and yet another non normal offseason for burrow because of the appendix (he still hasn’t had a normal offseason).

Everyone says they got lucky last year but I’d guess 1% of people who say this do so because of the Bengals poor history and overlook that if they won weeks 8-9 against the Jets and Browns (lol), they would’ve been the 1 seed.

The Bengals have…a good team.

NFL still the undefeated reigning champ of extracting hardcore male emotion.
