Panini Flawless thread - All seasons

Every time I see a Flawless card, I think about those dual patch Autos, particularly the Kobe ones. I dont recall if they were 2012 or 2013 but they were great.

I actually think they were both years.

The horizontal set, which I had an amazing D. Rob of at one time, was 2012 and just a stunning set.

Then 2013 was vertical and also incredible.

I PC Payton Pritchard for the Boston Celtics. A while ago I decided to trim my collection down getting rid of a lot of his cards that were sticker auto or had "not associated" patches. My focus changed to just his Prizm golds and Flawless RPA cards as that is his only RC that has a real game used patch. There are only 58 total cards (25 silver, 15 red, 10 gold, 5 green, 1 platinum, 1 laundry tag and 1 logoman) and so far I've collected 9 of them. I want to find a 2020 NBA empty case for them, but that has proven to be difficult. There are plenty on eBay from other years/sports, but 2020 NBA doesn't show up often. I've seen it once but it was pretty beat up so I passed.

Oooooh solid guess but he doesn't have a base. He does have a USA base /20 which I would love to grab.

It is the LeBron.

Someone hit the $1350 BIN on the Kobe about 3 days before I had the money.

Then the Steph BIN got hit at like $2400

So I had to win the LeBron seeing as I sold my 2012 Base LeBron.

It's a really nice year to collect.

Congratulations on adding a monster!

Although LeBron prices are starting to uptrend, he's still quite undervalued relative to his accomplishments (when compared to recent rookies/youngins). You picked a great time to add it.

Sometimes you just can't miss on a quality card. I love Flawless.

There was actually a big time NFL Flawless collector at a recent show that inspired me to go after Flawless again.. so many nice cards

100%. Especially ones that are low print-run because you might never get another chance again.

I like Flawless but don't own any in my PC (though I have owned a couple in the past). The only reason I never really got into it was because of its price-point (it's pricey). Funny thing is it's only gotten more expensive, exponentially, over the years. Clearly I should've added some key ones of my PC players in the past but hindsight is 20/20 and I can say the same thing about a lot of different players/cards haha.

I'll just enjoy through you. Keep stacking and sharing them!
