This thread gets quiet because even though its intention was supposed to be how the Thunder as a TEAM were playing awful (and they were and it was inexcusible)..it always goes back to Westbrook because he has so many detractors on here. The beginning of this thread was active because some on here love to crap all over Russ and the terrible start gave them the ammo to pour it on. Now that Russ and the Thunder as a whole are playing well..they all go away...but all it takes is a 4-21 shooting night from Russ and a loss to like the Hawks and they'll be back gloating with I told you so's and Russ is poison etc. It's basically the same exact thing that was happening last year.

You bring this point up often but what type of things are you expecting and or hoping from a thread titled "So sick of the Thunder"?

The OP is a thunder fan first off. And all I'm saying is the original intent of his post was he was disappointed in the entire team's performance..yes that included Russ but it wasn't JUST Russ..yet all it became about from others was Russ is poison Russ can't win yadda yadda. The post wasnt "so sick of Russell Westbrook" it was "so sick of the Thunder". So naturally when the anti westbrook starts trashing him...the pro westbrook crowd defends him..the thing is..the anti westbrook crowd pick and choose their battles..they go away during this current stretch where OKC (amd Russ) are clicking on all cylinders thus this thread becomes quiet.

i may not have read everyone's post but I do recall a good amount of thrashing on Carmelo as well. Not sure about Paul George but he has had his fair share of clunker nights. Those three basically make up the team with WB being the leader and as the leader, you will get most of the criticism when they do poorly but he will also receive most of the praise when they do well.

That's just how it is.

No I agree..and I'm an okc fan too and I hold russ accountable too..my point is some guys post in this thread specificalluly to just trash Russ..so when he's doing good..those posts go away because they obviously arent going to post anything that gives Russ any kind of credit. Then they come back when he and the team slump

There was some criticism of them but most of it was SEE Russ can't play with others..absolving PG for his poor start and acting like Russ has never had any semblence of success playing alongside another superstar

You're probably right but it shouldn't really be taken too seriously. I do believe that they are clicking right now and if it continues, I would not be excited to face the Thunder in a first round match-up.

Yeah I've been posting in here less because I'm tired of all the pro and anti-Westbrook fighting.
A few fans in here, but a lot of trolls (on both sides).

Didn't know PG was out today, damn.
According to Yahoo, in just under ten minutes, Abrines is -24!
At halftime, Roberson had taken four more shots than he should have. And missed them all. At least he's made one now...

Westbrook did not need to take that 3.

Down 3 with 50 secs to go, a 2 would be fine.

Haha. My god that missed call was so egregious.

Half his foot was over the line.

Didn't even review it. Hilarious.

Getting progressively worse through all sports.

Dude was literally right on the play like 6 inches from Giannis.

Giannis was bodied over the line so would have been a foul anyway.

Bucks have been getting screwed by NBA refs as long as I've been a fan. I'll take a call in our favor for once.

Bucks were the better team tonight either way.

Please point to me exactly where he was 'bodied' during that play.

Look, I understand your frustration as a fan...but every team gets screwed.

At the end of the day it was a blatant miss by the refs.

And no. They were not the better team either way. No team was clearly better than the other. Which is why the score was tied going into that blown no-call, and should have seen overtime.

it was tied because the Bucks missed 7 free throws in a row to finish the game

The Thunder misses 4 in a row to take the lead, so I will say offsets. Horrible blown call by a bad set of NBA officials who missed several calls in 2nd half. Giannis hammered Roberson on break away layup and No call. 5 min later Roberson attacked rim and Henson hammers Roberson across arms and No call so not sure how Bucks got no calls. Giannis is a hell of a player but stepped out of bound clearly and should have went to OT.... I am just ready for Westbrook bashers to blame him even though he had 40/14/9 on 48% shooting

I would have to see another angle on it other than the regular telecast angle. But it didn't look like his foot was clearly halfway on the line and his foot definitely was not flat to the ground.

As mentioned already, the Bucks have been getting boned by the refs for nearly 20 years now. If it was a missed call then its about time something went our way on that regard.

Clearly a missed call in the first half when Bledsoe got called for a charge on Westbrook on an And-1. Westbrook was clearly still moving his right leg and foot and was over the restricted area

Always fun seeing homers try and dance around a missed call.

I'm the biggest Seahawk homer in the world and even I acknowledge how bad the missed call was on the infamous Fail Mary.

It's called reality. You can cite all the hyperbole in the world about your franchise being the most poorly officiated in the history of the game, but it still doesn't detract from the fact it was a bad missed call tonight.

And to make it worse, it was the final play of the game which makes all the difference in the world. Additionally, it was unforced.
