I snuck it in for the 2024 damage replacement cutoff around November - almost exactly a year since it came out. Was a little nervous they'd tell me to pound sand .

They must’ve saved the best for last lol. Glad it worked out so well

Its got a "bad" corner, probably a PSA 8 but I'm happy with it. The NSCC is likely an 8 as well due to a surface issue on the bottom edge in the middle.

I never planned to grade the NSCC anyway and I'm still not sure if I'll grade the blue bowman or not. They might both end up in da binder.

Nice pickups. This days safe to assume any raw is a 7 or 8, which still presents beautifully! Sound decision if left ungraded . Just another upcharge /uncessary cost unless you have to for PC uniformity.

Yeah, I could even see them hitting this with a PSA 7 given their current rudeness on Ohtani grades. That would match my purple bowman but I'm not really that pressed to grade it since I have no plans to sell it any time soon.

Very sweet Bowman Blue. I hope you can get a good grade on that card!

So many nice cards in this thread. I can't play in the deep end of the pool like a lot of people in this thread but the shallow end is pretty cool too though.

I agree, gold vertical is a very nice choice.

Just got my World Series Topps now auto in. /5 and the auto isn’t streaky which always scares me with Shohei.

However it’s not orange. I did ask someone from Topps and they said it is definitely a mistake. How much is the value affected by it not being orange but still #d correctly?

Nice. I think oranges in a non-refractor finish aren't particularly attractive so it doesn't bother me. Orange is almost never /5 anyways, so I don't think it's a big deal as long as others are the same.

Yeah I like it more than I thought I would. I guess this is what it was supposed to look like.

Interesting. The tint is kind of cool. I have this peasant version and figured it was just the borders. But perhaps not for autos.

The one and only time TB has the "peasant version" of my card.

Yeah the 1/1 version has a gold tint and Topps Now is also doing 1/1 foilfractors so they've been making some changes.

Haha, I've been trying to continue collecting some new stuff while not getting crushed by the euphoric dodger pricing. Tough times!

I always liked foilfractors and was an early fan, but it saddens me that Topps is bringing them out so widespread. Makes me feel like they're going to get bastardized like foilboards.

Deal season is officially over, boys. Had two disgruntled hobbyists leave the (Burbank) show to buy some high end from me . Glad I didn't go.

Didn't think there would be any Sho deals at the show...with spring training having started and home turf. Deal season probably ended when the new year rolled over.

Stopped by Target earlier and snagged a single blaster of 2025 S1.
