We were only supposed to watch our granddaughter last night for a few hours while the middle SD and SIL went to a birthday party. Around 9PM, the youngest SD calls my wife to tell her that her grandmother (her Dad's Mom) died about an hour ago. We ended up keeping our granddaughter all night as the middle SD went to her Dad's house. Their father is on the road in Oklahoma and can't come home until they deliver a trailer and service vehicle to California.

They called the oldest SD and told her to go to the house, but didn't tell her why. She never showed up. I'm sure this will be add to her latest setback. She is about to be fired for work because she is constantly late, looks like a slob, and had a manic outburst while trying to help a customer.

This year I am donating 100% of my COMC sales from today through Red Sox Home Opener (Friday April 4th) to the campaign.

The entire shooting thing from the other night gets more and more complex. My friend’s nephews do music on the side. They have a deal with a small label, and have a decent following. They were doing a video at the apartment complex my friend’s mom lives at that night, and apparently somebody shot into a group that was also at the same complex. My friend and her daughter had left about 5 minutes before, and the shooter came through the bushes right next to her mom’s apartment. Luckily, everybody in her family is safe. The nephews are all shaken up because they lost a friend in the shooting that took 5 lives a few years ago when they were all in high school.

That shooting led to the other shooting, which led to the chase and the gun found in my yard. That apartment complex is mostly senior citizens and is right off of Main Street. It’s sad that city leadership refuses to address the cause of all this because they want to act like it isn’t happening. People are starting to put pressure on them now. Calls and emails all day, and people are reaching out to local state wide news channels about how things are being done here. How infrastructure is crumbling while they spend tax money on facilities to be used by people that don’t even live in the city.

I’ve had multiple people ask me this week to consider running for mayor or at least council. I have no doubt that if I won that I’d have a target on me for not continuing what is happening to go unchecked. I don’t know if it would be worth it.
