Lose a bet? I am currently 78 miles south west of the Maine/NH border and there is about 5 in on the ground, frozen right now

Had family up in Lewiston as a kid. 100 acre farm with a cemetery on it.

Used to cut our XMas trees from their land

We were supposed to get a huge snow storm today. Now nothing. What a let down. I am more disappointed than Glen when he runs out of cookies.

My brother visited Boston to check out another Ivy league college and fell in love with the city. I have a feeling I will be visiting Boston a lot 4 years from now.

They weren’t calling for anything here last night. Woke up and now they’re calling for a winter mix starting around 11:30

That's what my wife wants to get as her collar is either too tight or too loose and she gets free since she likes to drag you for now.

Interesting day yesterday. They changed the expo dates this year for the VA Fire Rescue Conference so all of move in was on Tuesday instead of split between two days. It started at 8 which is a bad time for the sun down there. I had to get creative with photos and what streets I photographed stuff on.

Around 2PM, I was waiting for the last of the apparatus to show up and all of a sudden, trucks begin moving back out of the convention center. One of the sales representatives from Matheny Fire & Emergency (that I had talked to earlier and told that he would contact me to photograph new apparatus when they got them in) told me that due to the weather they had decided to cancel the rest of the convention. So, I photographed everything coming back out too.

The weather looked really bad for Virginia Beach as they were calling for all out white out, blizzard conditions all day Wednesday and into Thursday. They were going to get pounded with snow the likes of which they rarely see. TO make matters worse, I saw zero snow plows anywhere getting ready. I decided to bite he bullet on losing the money for my hotel and drive back home last night.

Probably a good choice. So you are at work today?

Besides Pierce Ascendant Towers, I like trying to photograph fire trucks with unique town names or fire department names. I've photographed Intercourse, PA, Bird-in-Hand, PA, and Virginville, PA.

Yesterday, I got to photograph an apparatus from Dyke Volunteer Fire Company in Dyke, VA and Climax Volunteer Fire Department in Climax, VA.
