Patience. The Wander-centric products and the Sapphire parade haven't started yet. It's a marathon not a sprint. With the shipping and product delays, it was always unlikely we'd get bombarded with releases early. The releases will be good the only potential issue is how greedy Topps gets with price increases.

Did a small New Year's Eve break with another family. I let my buddy's son rip my last Rookie Cup box and this Ke'Bryan Hayes Foilfractor 1/1 was in it.

$600 , take it or leave it. They tell you what is guaranteed up front. I don’t see why someone is complaining on Dec 31. You’ll get your guaranteed sets and first dibs on the listed boxes. Anything else is gravy. Holy

A lot of people were told by card/discord groups that these memberships are free money and didn’t really know what they were buying exactly. Expecting a box with $200 resale profit to hit every month.

Two of the autos I got in my Rookie Cup boxes were damaged (Luis Robert had a corner ding and Nolan Arenado has the foil coming up on bottom edge).

Question I have for Topps replacement is can I send both cards in the same package to Topps with separate forms or do you need to send these to Topps individually?

same package is fine, but it needs to be a significant "corner ding" for them to replace...just FYI

One of the things I actually love that topps does with all the scamming on ebay these days, is if you try and play them on a corner ding, surface scratch, edge wear, centering and it is acceptable condition for a raw card out of pack you will get a significantly less valued replacement. Never forget the dude who traded in a red refractor auto here of a decent player for a purple of a nobody.

that’s kind of a shitty thing to do. should have sent him back his card and said they don’t deem it replaceable.

They have been doing it for years. Don’t return cards because they are 8.5-9’s instead of 9.5-10’s. If they did that they would set a very bad precedent for their own business.

Send it back to him at their own cost? Again not a smart business decision and sets a bad precedent. You would have guys doing that with hundreds of cards as a grading pre-check per say.

For higher value cards, I've seen cards returned back in BGS slabs. If they grade BGS 8 or better, they are good in their eyes. Can't fault them for people trying to game the system.

I sent my damaged vlad super in and they emailed me saying they want all the cards that came in the pack as well as the pack and the box. Also make sure you send in the proper form for damage

I learned that...had a 2020 Museum Collection Trout Relic /99...it had this weird fingernail shaped impression on the back...I just couldn't get over it...sent it in, said on my letter that I knew it was a petty ask, and if they thought it wasn't damaged enough to just send the Trout back...I got back a /25 relic, same series, but Ozzie Albies.

That was before they got stricter on their replacements too.

Anyone scratching redemptions out of Rookie Cup try a Penny. As detailed earlier in the thread, the codes are very small and easily damaged. I tested a credit card, fingernail and Penny and the Penny worked the best. I think the smooth edge rather than something like a dime or quarter with ridges helps here. Just still be careful with it the letters/numbers are so small it doesn’t take much to ruin one to where you can’t read it.
