Any NBA talent come out of there? I know Luc Longley was Australian back in the day, but doubt that league existed then.

That is pretty cool. Here's how I look at what I bought today, I could've bought 1 box of some hobby box for the same price but I would've gotten a relic or some scrub auto and felt like a fool. I have 12 boxes to open for the same price and who knows I might hit a parallel in 1 of the 12.

Hope you pull something cool next time you snag a football blaster!

In my mind the time and anticipation of ripping that many packs hoping you get a big hit/finish a set adds entertainment value to the price paid.

It's the same as the Bundesliga cases I opened that time. Got them for really cheap, built the set, sold the rest. I got lucky and hit a few 1/1's, but I made good money and still have some sitting on eBay that sells every now and then.

Is anyone here numb to big hits now? Pulled a Jayden Prizm that was going for $1k and there was no excitement. $1k isn't a lot, but it it's a lot relative to the price of the box it was pulled from. Maybe it will be more fun when I'm doing the Super Bowl rip with friends.

That’s the way I look at it. I spend an average of 11 dollars on the hangers at Walgreens after discount. For only 11 dollars there are a lot of cards to hit that would at least pay for the hanger and every once in awhile you get the tough to pull case hits. When I say pay for the hanger that is just a phrase I use as I hardly sell anything. What is the proper term to use if you are just collecting and not selling. I got some cards that made me happy might work.

I'd imagine German soccer would have more possible talent in it than Aussie/Kiwi basketball, but I don't know enough about either to state it as truth.

Trout Auto, sounds like a good one, I'd imagine even better in 2020, but I don't know baseball.

That’s how I felt with this years Ginter retail. I started putting some of the insert sets together and it made it more fun. Need only 1 for the 40 card dog set 1 for the x-ray set and finished the sister sister city set. The fun part though are the hits you get along the way. Damn power just went off no bad weather or anything.
