Yeah I just re clicked the link in the first email and was able to renew with no issue. Even at 700 a box the Brooklyn collection was an easy pass.

I am shocked they left the price the same.

If those Brooklyn boxes were 200-300 cheaper I would roll the dice, but its on the flawless basketball level.

And back in FWIW.

I have a bad feeling about 2020 though overall. I think with the early window exclusive stuff.....memberships number skyrockets and value goes down. Still $200 is hard to go wrong on.

I had 1 membership last year.

Was able to get another this year, so have 2 now and picked up a 2018 Brooklyn box with the 2nd. Interesting...

I actually like the design of Brooklyn Collection, but like some have stated, it isn't worth $700/box even if you hit Soto/Acuna/Ohtani/Gleyber (I think most boxes contained one of those top rookies).

Wait what? This doesn't make sense to me. Your membership from last year is done now, so you still have 1 membership.

It really doesn’t matter to me that much as long as they don’t let in a ton of new people. The complete set alone is worth triple or so of the membership cost so you really can’t lose. Even selling it sealed you get your membership cost back so the rest is free.

As someone who also collects toys a lot of sites do special preorder windows for certain exclusives to members of their clubs and often times they sell out to members only before they go up to the general public. I’m not sure this will happen for sapphire and ginter x but that could be a tremendous bonus to membership. If the members buy up the majority of those products

I purchased a renewal...then was able to get ANOTHER renewal plus a brooklyn box. 2 memberships now, with 2 separate order confirmations from Topps.

Yeah I can still get back to the order page if I wanted to order another. It does have this disclaimer.

*Max 1 membership per customer

Who knows if they will enforce it.

Yea I had to go back and clarify what I meant as it was worded poorly.

I mean that I think with the added perk of being able to buy into exclusives early, membership jumps 4-5 times what it was. Which will devalue the product. Will see though. I hope I am 1000% wrong.

I was under the assumption (I know, I know) that this was a semi-exclusive club. I'm not saying they wouldn't expand membership, but I thought there was a cap of some sort. I don't remember the early part of this thread; were there people who wanted a membership but couldn't get one because it was 'sold out'?
