Grad school student loans suck. We can't pay extra towards the principal. It all goes to interest. Debt stressed me out greatly.

It used to be that the hardworking, earnest students outnumbered the buttheads. But the proportions have flipped, and now the buttheads are safely the majority.

Making a few tweaks this semester to discourage buttheads. It won't get rid of all of them, because that's impossible. But even a reduction of volume would be a blessing.

They are. I'm starting to realize that they can't plow in VA. In MD, at least our streets would be pavement when they were done. Here, you still have a decent amount of solid islush and ce on our street that you need to go slow.

I went to Burger King this morning to get breakfast on my way to the dealership. Trying to get into the drive through lane and to the kiosk to order was a solid sheet of ice.

I am a grumpy, old man. Don’t think that you will take this course and skate through without doing the work. I’ve had enough buttheads in prior classes to know who will make it and who won’t. I only give out As and Fs, I’m not wasting my time reading all of your coursework. You either make a good impression over the semester (A) or you don’t (F).

I think next Saturday night me and my friend are going to take a painting class. Never thought I’d ever do a painting class, but I was looking for something different for us to do and found it. She seems excited, I just hope my painting looks something like it should.

Wow, 100,000 mileage maintenance has gotten really expensive since I last did this with my old Saturn. Pretty much doubled in price and that's not even including needing new tires as I figured I could get those cheaper elsewhere.

Hilarious thing is as I'm sitting here in the waiting room, a salesmen from the dealership calls me to see if I want to trade the vehicle in for a new one.
