It was awesome to see him bust out of his funk at the plate. You could tell he fixed his approach (I think the game before he was well on his way as he was laying off all the low breaking stuff which was eating him alive). I’m sure regardless of the loss, that going out on a high note at the plate will work wonders for his mentality moving into the offseason.

The error sucked, just took his eye off the ball and started checking the runner before he secured it. Some forget the ridiculous grab he had on Freeman to kill a Dodger rally early in the game, but I do agree he would be better as a corner outfielder, he’s definitely not a traditional CF but he’s generally a pretty solid OF.

Yes, but as I have been told many times here on BO, errors are not the factor which makes a defender good or bad and it was shown that Judge was not a great defender in the metrics given for the year.

When he was in right field, announcers gushed over him as being a gold glove caliber right fielder. I've never heard anyone say the equivalent since he's moved to center.

Probably brightens the future a bit. The fact that he doesn't do well in the playoffs was probably already baked in to pricing. The last 2 games of the WS may show that he is going in a different path. Just have to wait until the 2025 playoffs to know for sure.

Me personally, I look at no errors and I never saw him diving and missing like Soto in right and I think he defended center pretty well. I don't care about advanced metrics. I'd just rather see him back in right because he did seem better there and I want Dominguez to play instead of ruining the kids potential by leaving him the minors like the Yankees are famous for.
