Big picture, Judge is one of the easiest holds in the hobby. It’s just hard not to feel deflated after watching him flounder at the plate in the dream matchup against Ohtani and the Dodgers.

I hope its not over for Judge being "hobby good." I just started collecting him. I have a modest RC collection. Will post after his MVP announcement. His off season prices should be interesting to follow.

Probably a good time to pick up his stuff on discount. I'm sure he'll be back to mashing next spring.

I wouldn't worry long term. His prices may dip a bit in the short term. He will very likely be a HOFer and already a Yankee legend. Well liked. He will always have a pretty high floor.

At this point, he's broken both mentally and physically. He's not even close to being himself and he's on the biggest stage of his life. I'm still going to hold my PC (and most likely keep buying when his market eventually crashes) but this is a stain that might be permanent.
All eyes are on this golden goose egg and its going to remembered for a long time.

These are my 3 big Judge cards. All 3 took a little hit this postseason. I’m holding and probably buying more in the offseason.

I’ll always buy Judge barring any scandal. He’s a Yankees legend and a captain

He can hit 20 home runs in April but that won’t cover his struggles when the pressure was at it’s peak. Judge has played in 29 post season games and has ghosted the majority of them. At least he brought his team to the position where he could be critiqued. Judge is in the spotlight instead of hiding in the shadows and there is added pressure to produce.

Judge will be fine. I hope all of you railing on Judge's performance aren't going to be the same people bestowing the virtues of WAR when arguing for somebody else or Judge. Cause, ya know, analytics says there is no such thing as "clutch". yadda yadda.
Post season pressure is just different than regular season. Some guys can adapt quickly, others take awhile. Judge is good enough where he will have a really good post season run in him at some point. |

I think he will be like bonds. Bonds was terrible in the post season for years as a pirate, then played at an insane level in the 02 playoffs. Judge is going to have an incredible Post season one of these years.

That moment when you buy a PSA 9 card because it’s cheaper than the 10 only to see the 10 sell for the price of the 9 because Judge is doing so bad in the WS 🥲
It’s okay at least I like the card Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yankees need to judge proof their lineup. Bottom of the order is a black hole. They need the guys who can pick up the slack when he struggles.

Might sound crazy to some, but it’s true. You got to at least make a show of faith in the guy who’s the biggest reason you’re here in the first place. I wouldn’t disrespect the Captain. Without Judge, the Yankees aren’t in this series just like the Dodgers wouldn’t be there without Ohtani. Sure it’s been a disappointing MVP showdown. People want heads to roll when things aren’t working out, but are quick to forget that their contributions made these postseason opportunities possible for both teams. The World Series at this point is all but a foregone conclusion, you want to minimize the negative ripple effects into next year. Forget about the talking heads that want to see blood and certain Yankee fans that feel like they are owed Championships by all of their players simply because they are wearing pinstripes. It’s about an entire organization, not just one season. Yanks have to keep confidence in Judge, build in the offseason, and perhaps most importantly….don’t let Soto get away!
