What a joke. Wasted $1 on this crap. Lowest price on Tommy John is actually 28 cents (on sale). Why can't the AI(?) just pick the lowest price card?

The COMC Agent sounds like it needs a lot of revisions to be actually useful.

I wonder what feedback / consumer research COMC used to decide that it would be a good option to add to the site.

There are countless other features that could be added to the site that would benefit COMC and all users much more than the "Agent".

Just a few that come to mind quickly:

*Set Building Registry - something similar to PSA's registry where users can build different types of sets (regular, master, HOF player, etc) and player runs. Rewards could be given for finishing a set or run by using just COMC for all of the cards.

*Bulk-Lot Sell Option where sellers can select certain cards and quantities and bundle them together at one price. A more refined "Port Sale" option.

*Virtual Re-Packs - tons of potential here if done right

My assumption would be it is $1 if you are in advanced reseller mode and $2 if you are not.

This would explain the odd $1 $4 $19 $99 values. Which would make them $2, $5, $20, and $100 in regular mode.

What if the AI agent gets access to what's on everyone's Watch Lists? To me, those are the cards I think are most worthwhile, and as a flipper, the cards I think are worth buying low and selling higher. So far I have seen zero cards removed from my watch list in the last two days, so I'm guessing either people aren't using the higher dollar option or the AI Agent doesn't have access to watch lists.

Is the COMC AI Agent allowed to scrape PSA's Auction Prices Realized site? It might make better decisions that way.

Actually, the quickest most valuable way to make it useful/better right now is to not force all the purchases. Run the query, return the results to the customer, THEN allow purchase. Don't auto-purchase and then make us resell. They would get loads of training data of how useful the AI shopper is if we had the option to purchase what it returned, and they would end up making more sales based on people using the Agent more, rather than being disgusted with the results, and swearing it off. I think this AI agent discussion is worth of its own topic in this forum. Agree/disagree?

With the size of their business, they could auto respond with a ticket or incident number including setting the expectation of a response time. It is so bush league. Now I'm questioning why I used them.

Last time that happened they just cancelled the request, then put the money back in my account. Then the reps that replied said they did not see any requests for a cashout for those dates.

I think they will just cancel it at some time, took over two weeks for me.

Well I tried it and AI agent gave me a value of

Value 0.87
Spent 1.00
Savings -0.13

It gave me a negative savings.

Not only that.
It did not grab the lowest price card & the total purchases only add up to 0.98 cents

COMC needs a buying agent that will ADD TO CART based on a selection of criteria (player/set/team, etc) and always pick the lowest priced card available. And using a quantity of cards that you specify.

Sales would explode.

Generally I would agree but from the cards from the 80's and back. often times the cheapest cards have significant condition issues, even though they are in the nm+ bucket.

I should have looked on here before I tried the AI agent. I thought I was going to get an additional prompt, didn't realize I was purchasing it immediately. I never would have gone through with it with how little detail they asked for.

So now I apparently own this crap.

Why would anyone add a card to their Watch List if doing so meant that an AI was going to give it to somebody else?

You would add it to your watchlist because you are interested in it and want to keep an eye on it?

If many people have some cards on their watch lists, then that means they are desirable cards!

Give it away? If you use the agent you paid. You didnt get anything for free.

If you really wanted the card you would have bought it for the current price instead of just adding it to the watch list. Am I missing something?
