HUGE shoutout to Trueblue on this one. There is just so much blue it’s amazing! I know it’s not gold or orange or even red, but blue is blue-tiful. 2018 wins as the best year for Topps EVER, not even close. #thankstopps

Been following the low and mid end Ohtani RC market pretty closely. My observations are that base RC and inserts are creeping back up to in season highs. Some of the RC SP cards I have collected in the past seem to be getting collectors attention (blue and black variant flagship inserts etc.). I also have been noticing a lot less #ed and SSP RC on the market than usual. Seems collectors are keeping these cards.

Anyone else noticing any interesting trends in the Ohtani market right now?

I only spotted this because I have a PSA 9 Finest rookie Ohtani auto I'm looking to sell locally soon - one just sold on ebay for a 3 year high of $5,400. Last sale in that grade was $3,950 in November.

Funny thing is, to help fund my Heritage Real One I offered this to a buddy for $4k in December and he passed. Suffice to say my price has gone up.

I saw that sale today too. Because it sold as a BIN is there a way to know if it actually sold at that price or if it was discounted as an offer from the seller?

Terapeak shows the actual sale price as $5,400.
