They quoted me $460 over the phone for my car. Mr JD picked it up because he only worked 4 hours today. It was less than $400. Happy it cost less than anticipated!

I could as I know some people who have the skills and knowledge. Unfortunately they’re not at my beck and call and having car problems this time of year I was lucky they could even fit me in. I have been going to the place I took it to for years and believe it or not not everybody is out to rip you off. Some things are just that expensive.

No. I don't know why I got boxes. I had a bunch of singles picked out from the value boxes, including a bunch of shiny pokemon and put them all back. There’s another LCS about 1:30 away that I might try to go to tomorrow. I went to their Myrtle Beach store last year, but they have one in the upstate too. Apparently there’s a MeelyPops shop in Spartanburg too. Might go see if they have GI Joe cards.

I really should have just ordered more NASCAR blaster cases. They are fun to open at least. This Topps stuff is just a kick in the sack every time.

I guess it’s not always a kick in the sack, I did pull a Trout auto /25 in 2020 and got good money from it.

I opened 1 box that year. My auto was some bum that struck out a lot when he got called up the first time, so I sold it for $40. One of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. The last PSA 10 went for $3,500

I pulled that same guy out of a 2017 gypsy queen box my wife gave me for Christmas it was the black and white autograph numbered 40/99’not worth as much as the bowman but it is one of my favorite pulls.
