Because its Diamond Icons, just another pretty looking mid set that isn't wanted or needed in the hobby but it's there so it has some value at least. Looks like it was discontinued in 2024 as well - the only 2024 Diamond Icons available are on Topps Bunt.

As you know the bowman hitting image is the most iconic of all of Shohei's RC year cards. I'd say that's the difference!

I really wish I could have kept them all but this was the only way I could fund the purchase through consolidation.

I did receive some good news recently from SGC that they are willing to grade (PSA would not due to it being an error card /25) so my plan for 2025 is to drop this off at their booth at one of the local shows here in SoCal. To get this slabbed and protected is my primary objective this coming year. Second to that, I must find a way to fund the acquisition of either a rookie BCA (any will do) or ROA through consolidation.

Congrats on the successful consolidation!

I recently did something similar - sold a couple Ohtani and a few Freemans to pick up this

beauty.

I have the identical card (ungraded) and have received some VERY nice offers for it. I'm wondering if they are in the same ballpark. Of course, yours should be worth more due to the fact it is a PSA 10.
