I was not saying that Ginter X Ohtani RC should jump in price right now. I try not to worry what other people think and not worry about prices will be someday. If I like a card and I think the price is fair (and I can afford it LOL) I do not hesitate. Obviously a shorter printed card will hold up in values better (like a Heritage #17, other flagship sps and ssps, autos, serial numbered ETC). Supply and demand dictate prices so higher pop cards will erode in price as the supply exceeds demand. It doesn't matter what set, what he does on the field, price is set by supply and demand. If it is a super low pop card that no one wants, the price will drop. If it is a high pop card that everyone wants and there aren't enought supply the price will rise. If he hits 60 homers next year but less people want graded cards or rookie cards the price will drop. If baseball card collecting explodes next year and Shohei has a sub par season I would imagine his prices would still go up if there weren't enough cards available for the exploding market. If he is in some scandal and tons of collectors dump his cards the market will be flooded and prices will drop.

Had a PSA order pop. Absolutely putrid gem rate. Saving grace is that these two were the survivors. Now pop 3 and pop 2, respectively.

So I noticed in the Ohtani 50/50 set, the 40/40 autos are mislabeled. They say 8/24/24 in Miami. It was 8/23/24 in LA. The non autos are correctly labeled though.
